Me! I had pre-ordered it months ago, and it arrived a week or so after my SNES Mini.

It's actually pretty cool and jam-packed with all sorts of SNES trivia...

Has anyone managed to get Neo Geo games working on this? It's proving to be a bit of a ballache.

I had my first crash/failure with this last night - on my non-modded system.

I'd been playing Link to the Past for a couple of hours, and I make a save state every so often when I get to a significant point. This time, I hit reset, pressed 'down' on the dpad ready to write my save state and it turned itself off. Power switch was on, but light was off. Turned it off and on, still no joy.

Turned it off at the wall for 20 secs, back on - back to normal, no further issues.

Anyone else had any experiences like this?

I suppose it could have been the USB plug? But just seemed odd timing.

The USB cable I got with my SNES was a load of gooseberry fool. My console was always turning off and not turning on for minutes on end. I've since switched to a different cable and have had no problems.

Thanks for this - I guess that pressing reset might have jogged the console or something. I'll try another and see how I get on.

In glad Nintendo are making a real effort at keeping the stock coming, I can't help but feel sorry for people who paid over the odds.
On the one hand they should have waited, but on the other hand the blame lies with Nintendo as well as they have a well established reputation for artificial scarcity with the NES classic and various Amiibo.

Just been to Grainger Games in Redcar to grab Mario and they had 2 SNES minis on a shelf behind the counter to sell. Theyre charging £80 rather than £70 mind.

Loving my SNES Classic (thanks again AndyXL). How many people have hacked theirs? Just wondered if it's worth it. I'm unable to do so as my daily driver is a mac so will have to wait if I do decide to bother.

Hacked mine but only checked to see if the games work, which they do then packed away back in it's box like it's never left the thing. Got something special in mind now with my one.

Anybody wanna buy a SNES mini? :slol:

I would consider offers at cost (£80) + postage. Let's say £85.

Edit: reserved. Will bump if it becomes available again.

Back in stock at Nintendo's Online Store, at time of typing. They're throwing in a USB Power Adapter too.

Finally managed to order one on the Nintendo store. I had the confirmation email, so hopefully it's all good.

Glad to hear Nintendo seem to be sticking to their promise of keeping these available over the Christmas period.
