4/10 :| Why they bothered to review the console version I don't know as the game was clearly designed with PC in mind. Most of their complaints aren't even applicable to the PC version.

What? The only complaint that won't apply is clunky controls.

It ain't a brilliant game. 4/10 is probably a bit harsh, but it's no masterpiece. 6 at best.

"A player vs player multiplayer option would have been the obvious opportunity to emphasise and focus on this strength"

They say poor controls, jerky animations and lack of multiplayer. None of which apply to the PC version. It's a polished and fully featured package. Plenty of co-op modes that can differ by role, multiplayer is extremely customisable with dedicated servers and it all runs without a hitch thanks to steamworks. Not the one trick pony the reviewer makes it out to be.

This is on sale on Steam until 6pm for about £10, for £11 something you get the first game also.

Yay! I hugely enjoyed Sniper Elite III and this remastered version of V2 looks really good. The game arrives on 14 May and I'm definitely up for it :toot: .

If the game was cheaper on Switch I'd get it but because I own the game on Steam it's about £6 to upgrade to the Remastered Edition.

Yeah, the console versions are £26.99 to pre-order digitally. I was toying with the idea of the Switch version but I have Sniper Elite 3 and 4 on PS4 and I'm gonna go down the same route with this game.
