Stay strong, bro.

Clearly not this series ;)

I'm sure that I'm just going through all the necessary stages, and I know that sometime I will have dealt with it. It's just at the moment I'm in the thick of it and really can't see that far ahead. Would be incredible if someone here had dealt with it before is all, everyone's great about it but there's only so much people can understand I think. To be honest though, I'm happy to be around people who aren't constantly moping about it as well.

Yeah I think the key is not to get frustrated, although that does seem impossible at the moment.

Sounds like a fairly nasty thing to go through, kinda puts my own health issues into perspective (I have Muscular Dystrophy which is incurable and will probably reduce my life expectancy in the long run but I've had many years to come to terms with it), at least you have a good chance of successful treatment so stay positive.

all the best.

It's very nearly a year to the day since I had a stroke that almost left me staring at the game over screen. I recognise some of your story as mine; the waking up with a strange symptom, for some reason dismissing it easily, passing out and regaining consciousness a lifetime later. And that fear afterwards, as you say that sword of Damocles, the unexpected nature of it all. My fingers are tightly crossed for you man, I hope you pull through.
