I donated £15 (6th January) but idiotically didn't actually put my name to it, saw that I hadn't just as I clicked submit but was obviously too late.

Just thought I'd mention it so you know who the anonymous donor was.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far. I am so incredibly grateful  The page is up to £1,156 which is incredible. Aiming for £2,000 to help the charity supporting people like myself (but with a more advanced stage).

Bump in case anyone sees this who hasn't previously

PostRe: Tldr: Mini E going blind, London marathon in 40 hours or so, one working knee, close to target, please help, <3 <3

Evening everyone :) well we're about 40 hours away from the start.

My training has been screwed by a persistent knee injury so this is going to be an incredibly unpleasant experience. We have raised a total of £1,800 so far (I'm eternally grateful to you lovely people who have already donated to my page) and are just short of the £2,000 target. This is a cause extremely close to my life (obviously), so if you're reading this and could help me towards the financial goal I'd be incredibly grateful.

Thanks lads and ladies.

I'm sorry to hear this Mini E. With the constant advances in medical science I'd hope some kind of cure or solution can be found. Wishing you luck for the Marathon. I did a 10k in 2012 and I don't have the knees for running so I can't imagine the challenge of 26 miles. Best wishes and I'll be sure to donate (can't right now as I'm on a day trip reading Grcade on the loo).

Edit: strawberry float it, they accept PayPal so I extended my toilet break and donated. Good luck with the marathon, don't do a Paula Radcliffe

I'm sure Mini E is currently trying to remember where he put his bib / using a portaloo for the 10000000000th time this morning / meditating, so I'm sure he won't mind me saying that you can track him on the London Marathon website.

Run well Mini E :toot:

According to the forum it's also Mini E's birthday today. Quite the way to turn 28, mate. Hope it's a good day and a good result for the fundraiser.
