But on a serious note you might consider replacing it with a ps3 slim. Multiformat games are all the same now or at least very close and the ps3 has some fantastic exclusives this year and next.

Just called GAME's insurance complany and raised a claim. Hope they are alright. If they are I'll renew my warrenty next year if this keeps happening. I don't want to fork out for a new xbox, especially when they dont sell the cheap version in black!

My Elite Red ringed and I sent it away and got it back in a week. I dont see what the problem is. The RROD is practically non existant with the new motherboards which my one got when it was fixed. :wub:

I love my 360, and now I love it more because I have Sky Sports and Sky Movies on it for nout! 8-)

Not worried about that and I actually like the controller but Live will be better on the 360

I'm on my second XBox, and I've had this one for around a year and half now, or longer. I reckon it's about due to RRoD on me. I've started watching the lights as I switch it on, thinking 'Is it now? Is it now?'.

I figure it's deliberately holding out until I finally get to have a couple of weeks off over the Xmas break. Yes, I'm pretty sure that's exactly what it's doing.

Nobody should have to go through this kind of torture with a game console. :evil:

Especially if it freezes. It was freezing lots of times in the weeks leading up to the RROD so if it freezes I take note to look at the lights on reboot! :oops:
