Cyberpunk 2077, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Pokemon Sword, Luigi's Mansion 3 and Breath of the Wild 2 for definite.

I'm not even one of you Nintendo fanboys but I feel like you know what you're getting with them. I'm hoping that Fallen Order, Watch Dogs Legion, Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, Avengers, The Outer Worlds and No More Heroes 3 turn out great.

Definitely
Cyberpunk 2077 - I know one option is to wait for a superior next-gen version but I have an Xbox One X so it should be more than able to handle it fine.
Flight Simulator
Final Fantasy VII remake
Minecraft Dungeons - with all the other big games people are overlooking it but it looks really good!
The Outer Worlds
Halo Infinite But of course I want this. A one year wait for a CGI trailer doesn't cut the mustard so I'm crossing it off.

Maybe
Death Stranding
Watch Dogs Lahndon. I'm intrigued by the idea of playing in my home city with an interesting gameplay mechanic. My concern is that it is just a reskinned Ubisoft open world game.

NO
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Star Wars-fatigue and middling action game-fatigue puts me off. The Last Skywalker hype might get me back on.

I decided I'm going to go batshit mental and buy an Xbox Elite Controller 2 because it supposedly works with the Scarlet so in a way I'll be futureproofed :shifty: .

I also got a code for Game Pass Ultimate so now I'm subbed until Apr 2020 which is nice.

It wasn't shown during any conferences but I want to add Blasphemous to my list too. Game is looking legit.

Not guaranteed purchases, but my games of the show were:

Vampire the Masquerade 2: Looks like everything I'd want from a sequel. The characters even hold their heads in the same, alluring way the original's vamps did!

Star Wars Fallen Order: After a poor initial gameplay reveal, good trailer and frankly incredible write-ups this is squarely on my radar.

The Outer Worlds: The New Vegas sequel we all wanted, in a new universe that looks 10 times more interesting than the wasteland (lol) Fallout has become.

FFVII Remake: Still unsure about this. I hate the voices and detest the pricing/episodic structure but all the impressions from the demo were excellent.

Doom Eternal: For when you're not allowed to talk politics.

Cyberpunk: Uuuuuurgh why does CDPR keep strawberry floating up with everything surrounding this. I might actually have to wait for the reviews on this which is a place I never thought I'd be.

---------------------------
Games wot I worked on:
Night Call: Out now!
Rip Them Off: Out now!
Chinatown Detective Agency: 2021!
EXOGATE Initiative: Early Access Summer 2021

I buy very few games on release these days and I want to play many of these games on a brand new PC build that's unlikely to be done before early next year, but here's the stuff that stood out.

Definitely:

Cyberpunk 2077 - Combination of a favourite fictional sub-genre and favourite genre of game from the makers of one of my favourite games ever. Jack me in.
Doom Eternal - Looks like a brilliant continuation of everything id did right in the last game. Possibly my favourite thing I saw from E3 this year.
Astral Chain - Platinum Games' track record is enough for me.
Dying Light 2 - Heard nothing but good things about the first game and the world reactivity of the sequel sounds interesting. Avellone is involved too which is a plus.
The Outer Worlds - Makes me think of Fallout: New Vegas and if this can accomplish even half of what that game did, I'll love it.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 - Love these immersive sim RPGs and this is the sequel to one of the best out there. I was fairly skeptical when it was announced but the gameplay trailer looked good to me.
Wolfenstein: Youngblood - I've enjoyed the modern run of Wolfenstein games a lot and I'm just hoping for more of that.
Control - Remedy is one of my favourite developers and everything I've seen of Control looks right up my alley. The visual design greatly appeals to me, the combat looks as though it could be the best they've put out since Max Payne 2 and the promise of a more non-linear structure is intriguing.
Gears 5 - I was disappointed we didn't see more of the campaign at E3 after liking Gears 4 much more than I expected to. Now I want to see them take the series in a new direction after the last game seemed to be a statement that they can deliver on the fundamentals of the franchise.

Maybe:

Fire Emblem: Three Houses - Nothing about the world of Fire Emblem really appeals to me, but I simply like the idea of chilling out with a slower paced strategy game on a portable system.
Final Fantasy VII Remake - I had almost no interest in this going into E3, maybe because I believed it was never actually going to see the light of day. I'm happy to say I was pleasantly surprised by how the game is shaping up, it looks as though it's found a good balance between being respectful to the original release and reimagining everything. I will ideally play this when the full story is completed though.
Watch Dogs: Legion - It gets points for not being set in overused US locations and the NPC recruitment stuff seems like a cool idea. Every game is limited by resources, however, so I'm dubious about how the whole thing works. Still, they got my attention with that first look.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - I liked the reveal trailer. Some of their talk about how edgy the campaign will be is concerning, especially in light of how the previous MW series eventually shoe-horned in some tragic event in each game for controversy's sake, but I'm actually glad to see the series return to the modern era. COD4 is an important game to me and I hope they can live up to it.
Collection of Mana - People's excitement over Trials of Mana finally being localised has piqued my curiosity.
Rainbow Six Quarantine - Siege is a fantastic game but can be quite intimidating when you're not great at it. I don't know if this is a Left 4 Dead or Horde mode form of co-op but either way, PVE will be more immediately enjoyable to me over PVP.

Interested but lacking information:

Halo Infinite - I didn't get on with Halo 5 at all. I have faith that 343 have recognised Halo's diminished relevance and will course correct with Infinite but I would also like more details on why this campaign will be different.
12 Minutes - Trailer looked cool. I have no idea how it plays though.
Empire of Sin - Interested for the same reason as Fire Emblem but I also like the use of the prohibition era as a backdrop.
Elden Ring - From Software make some good games.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 - BotW was my first and only 3D Zelda experience so far and I loved it. I liked the different tone in the trailer for this but hopefully the world map isn't completely recycled.

Launch Day
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 - :msgreen:  :toot: :msgreen:
Pokemon Shield - the E3 trailer revived my interest as I was a bit deflated from the original one. Let's Go really got me back into bigger Pokémon games and the English inspired setting already caught my interest and now I'm very keen to explore Galar
Super Mario Marker 2 - AYAMMM 2 :toot:

Backlog Permitting
Fire Emblem: Three Houses - I'm a big fan of Fire Emblem but never finished any of the 3DS games (I got to the last level of Awakening and stopped for some reason  ) but I'm keen to play this when I have more time
Doom Eternal - I need to finish Doom 2016 but I've got this on my radar for after that
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening - Pokémon will take up a lot of time at the end of the year so I'll have to see how much time I have to LA before that
LEGO Star Wars - The Skywalker Saga - I really enjoyed the new features of the later Lego games and I'd like to see how the original Star Wars ones are re-worked
Luigi's Mansion 3 - This looks better and better each time I see it and I've enjoyed both 1 and 2 so this will also just depend on timing
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order - I had a lot of fun with UA2 so I'd like to see if this recaptures that glory but it looks promising, especially coming off the end of the Infinity Saga
Tales of Arise - Tales would normally be day one but I still have Zesteria and Berseria pretty much unplayed so I'll see how I get one

Depends on Reviews - I need to see and hear more about these but they've got my curiosity
Astral Chain
The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance - Tactics
Empire of Sin
Evil Genius 2
Marvel's Avengers
No More Heroes 3
Panzer Dragoon
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
