Re: So, who won E3 2019? Rate the conferences

This E3 was weird for me.
I watched some of the Ubisoft show which was uneventful. Then I watched some of the AMD show for god-knows-why reason. All just leaving the streans on for something to listen to while I worked my arse off through the night printing T-shirts for someone.
Then Nintendo Direct as usual was actually fun and showed some really high quality gameplay footage.
Sony made no appearance so I have no clue at all what to look forward to on PS4. And I don't own an Xbox.
So errr I'm left wanting a Switch before I "miss" the console completely and aside from that this E3 had almost no impact on me. I kind of felt I had to pretend to look forward to games I won't be able to play anytime soon.
The things I'm most looking forward to then are BotW 2, Luigi's Mansion 3 and Deus Machina (mech Switch thing) looked decent. More system sellers for me (especially BotW 2 as obviously that won't be coming out on Wii U this time).
I still think Nintendo Treehouse live is by far the best approach I've seen, you get actually interesting insight from the developers (not PR people), relatable people within the company just chatting gooseberry fool about the game, enjoying the game that they've evidently played in their own time (or actually had fun playing it at work or before the show), and dropping info nuggets, and loads and loads of gameplay (almost too much in the case of Luigi's Mansion 3 for example, which is the sort of game you want to slowly uncover for yourself - especially considering the first was so short, which I hope this one won't be).
