So, you know that Sainsbury's/ASDA deal? Well you won't believe who's bought ASDA now!

Something to celebrate, I suppose.

Compared to the competition, ASDA does need a bit of an overhaul. The shopping experience is the worst of the big stores, and their own brand food is routinely rated as crap. You can get away with having a poorer in-store experience if you're cheap and still good quality (like Lidl), but nothing quite compares to the LOUDNESS of an ASDA.

Yeah our local Asda sucks and it is a reasonably new one. Some products are OK but generally they are pretty gooseberry fool in comparison to the likes of Tesco. Plus most of the customer they have jesus, deffo where the scum go.

Yeah ASDA is an absolute Z tier supermarket, easily the worst of the big name stores

Oddly Asda are about the best for fresh fruit and veg in the area of the big supermarkets where I live, for some reason Morrisons is awful with stuff going off quickly.

ASDA is an absolutely miserable place to visit. Stacked high and dense, feels very claustrophobic and dark to shop in. Definitely attracts a tier of customer that I wouldn't usually rub shoulders with too, but in its defence the one here in Southampton city centre stocks Tayto crisps, so they're definitely useful enough sometimes like.

I used to lives 90 second walk from a Morissons but still rarely went there because their fruit and veg was always out of stock and their meat was always extremely close to its sell-by-date or had even begun to turn already.
