We’re getting the baby delivered next Thursday 5th. Shame she missed being a Star Wars baby.

They’ll start chemotherapy and radiotherapy 7 days later on my partner.

We’ve had another change of plan. The consultant called yesterday to say that the cancer is aggressive and the extra week wait is too much, so they are getting baby out tomorrow.

Sorry don’t mean to bring things down, just trying not to show her how scared I am about all this so writing it down helps a little.

All the best Chris, particularly for your wife's treatment. We also had babies early, twins delivered at 35 weeks with my son only weighing in at 3lb 9oz. Aside from an issue with the enamel on his baby teeth which has hopefully not progressed into his adult teeth, he's above the average height and weight for his age so he quickly caught up.

Our daughter was born at 12:25pm, little Isabella. She’s in intensive care but she’s doing well.

Baby is really well. She’s developing ahead of the curve.

My partner on the other hand, not so good. I posted in the relationship thread about it, but basically we’re waiting to hear whether the treatment is working or not.
