Sort of related but I had a kid say something really strawberry floating creepy the other day, but he's 14 which makes it worse.

He was in trouble for getting in a fight with another kid, and didn't seem to give a gooseberry fool that he was in trouble, and we said something along the lines of;

'You have to understand that your actions have consequences'

and he said

'Oh yea I know that, I wouldn't have done it in real life'.

I mean, what?

I took my lad to Wild Place yesterday – it’s a wildlife park just outside of Bristol. The last time he went there was his birthday which obviously confused him as when we were driving there he said “Daddy, is it my birthday?” I quickly said no as I wasn’t risking him thinking he should get a present. ;)

He spent more time pretending to drive a Land Rover they have in the park than he did looking at animals. :x

“I want some dinner”

“What would you like?”

“Cheese”

“You can’t just have cheese”

“ME WANT CHEESE!”

“You can have some cheese but you have to have some proper dinner after”

Moggy heads to fridge

“DON’T WANT FRIDGE CHEESE!!”

“Well that’s the only cheese we have”

“ME WANT SOME DINNER!!!”

 :x :x

Mine has now fully entered the terrible two's, his favourite word is "don't".

It's especially annoying to take him to the bathroom to pee as before he was great, he could go the full day without peeing in his diaper, now the only time he wants to use the toilet is when he needs to poop. Apparently this is still better than lots of other kids his age, so I guess it could be worse.

Did anyone take their babbas on a abroad holiday while they were very little?

Thinking of going away in January so our kid would be 4 months.

Yes, we went to Valencia with a 4 month old, it was easy, do it!

Agreed we've been away a few times when kids were that small, if anything it's easier when they are that small than when they are 1-2 years.

I think you need to find out what 'cheese' they've been eating.

Going to take my lad for his first ever trip to the cinema later for the new Shaun the Sheep movie.

This’ll either be great or the biggest mistake I’ve ever made. ;)

Good luck! You'll need it!

How old is he? Taking ours to the cinema has just about become tolerable now that the youngest is 3, below that they just didn't have the power to go that long without doing something annoying!

I took Ella to see toy story 3 on her 3rd birthday. When Lotso closes the lid to the bin and it goes dark on screen she shouted out "bring the movie back!".

3 years 5 months.

He watches movies all the way through at home so should be fine. Famous last words!

Nice one, was the movie any good? I quite enjoyed watching the first Shaun the Sheep movie with my lot when it came out so it would be nice to get along to this one as well!

Yeah I thought it was great. If you like sci-fi movies then you’ll spend most of it spotting references.

I’m annoyed I paid online before we left though (£12.40!), when we got there the only staff member was selling popcorn and we walked in with nobody checking we’d paid. I could have got a freebie!
