Social isolation: haircut impacts

So, yeah, it's gonna be pretty much impossible to get a hair cut for a while.

Will this mean that you're gonna just let your hair get long? Or are you thinking about cutting it yourself? Maybe you do this anyway?

Additionally, could now be a great time to grow that beard that you've been thinking about?

Please share your hair plans here!

I'd already been thinking of growing my hair long again but I'll probably just shave it all off when it gets to that annoying not quite long enough to tie back stage.

I've not trimmed my beard in a week or so, and it's getting a bit long. Think I'll stick with it though, see how it gets.

I had my hair cut only a week and a half ago, so it'll do me for now, but I normally get it done every 3 weeks so not looking forward to potentially going months without one.

I've recently started getting a buzz cut so I've just ordered some clippers from Amazon.

They've been delayed a week though, not surprised really.

Bald. So I had a haircut yesterday via a wet shave. I have plenty of razors, so I'm good.

I had long(er) hair for quite a while many years ago, I have no desire to go back to that look so I will be taking matters into my own hands if necessary!

Normally get my hair cut every 6-8 weeks and now is about week 5 of that cycle so it's starting to get close to becoming a problem...

I get my haircut once a month usually the Saturday after payday. Payday is 31/03/2020 so it ain't happening this month. I have a shaved head but it gets a bit messy if I leave it for too long. I may have to look into investing in some clippers.

Nice one, Fade - I've had clippers for many years now and I tend to use them once a week.

Yeah, I'm like that too, Squinty, but I've always used clippers rather than a razor.

Join us! Once you're used to them, Cumbers, it's neat to be able to sort it out yourself.

Have had a no1 for pretty much a year ( was thinning badly ) but did it for my nephew.
Haven't shaved it in a while though, so it's the longest it's been in a while. I have my own set of clippers though!

I've been shaving my own head for 13 years so it's business as usual for me.

Could always just go full Robin Williams in Jumanji I guess then mark the end of the lockdown with a haircut, beard trim and a trip to the pub.

Should have had mine cut weeks ago, by the time this is all over I'm going to look like a right tramp. But hey, who cares right?

I'm going to look dreadful by the time this is over :fp: - Beard will be fine, hair on my head is going to be epic.

I usually just get the wife to shave my head. I don’t need a cut yet.

I am usually clean shaven but see no point at the moment so my beard is the longest it’s probably ever been. I want to look like Tom Hanks in Castaway by the time this is all over.

I only cut my hair every 3 or so months anyway, so I'm fine. Some hairstyles naturally look better than others, but I don't care tbh. Because it's initially cut very short it never gets to the point of being long like I'm some sort of dilapidated '80s rock legend.

I had a haircut a week last Saturday so am OK for a while.
Have ordered a proper beard cutter/trimmer though as I normally get that done at the barbers with a hot towel shave.

I've can probably count on 2 hands the amount of times I've gone the barbers in the last 20 years.

Got my own clippers to doesn't make any difference to me.

I'll be leaving mine to grow - got it cut last in February I think.
