Do you take a fully straightened out sock and slide your foot through the length of it, or do you roll the sock into a little ring that you unroll over your foot?

I have to know.

Neither, I just bunch them up.

Option one. The bunched up version is more for really long socks or tights, surely?

Virtually the same, but you pull up instead of roll.

Ah, I guess that’s what I meant. (The word “bunch” was escaping me earlier)

All my socks are with zip, so I simply place them over my foot unzipped, then zip up.

The poll results have me thinking I’m an absolute freak

Worst 'I wear socks' post ever.

I slide. The only exception is if I've put cream on my feet (I have dry feet). Then some kind of rolling procedure would have to be done to not wipe away the cream. Or if I have really nice new socks that I want to treat well, a roll might also be in order then. But most of the time it's a slide.

This is obvious title change bait.

I have posh socks, bought a pack (in the post lockdown sale last year) from the gentlemen's department at Fortnum & Mason.

I'm also a fan of the uniqlo colour socks range.

Depends on the sock, sometimes I unroll it over the foot and sometimes I slide it in.
