Announced yesterday from what I can gather! I love when a good looking game comes out of nowhere to be released in only a couple of weeks.

I got this and have played it briefly

It's uh... dated. Like the developers haven't played any games since 2000 dated. I really like the concept but the execution could be so much better. The side-scrolling sections are tough and clunky in an arcade memorise where enemies are going to jump out from kind of way. The town building is RTS tower defence and probably the better half of the game, but it's still not great.

Disappointing then, really, but I'm still glad the game exists.

EDIT: Beat the first world proper now, and while my opinion hasn't really changed, I am enjoying it. Just not as much as I wish I could!
