Yeah I've got a real feeling she's not going to be in the tv show. Like it's a step too far for the non book reading tv audience to believe.
I really do have the feeling things are going to start majorly diverging away from the book's story/GRRM's planned storylines next season.

I'm actually not looking forward to next season nearly as much now.
I would have forgiven the absence of LS if they had got the Tyrion bit right but they didn't.
The director also said that the Hound is definitely dead.

Which when you consider that episode had
an elf throwing firebombs at reanimated skeletons is ridiculous. While I am a massive book fan, I can accept most of the changes they've made with this show but potentially
cutting LS is too far.

Oh agreed. But they're just essentially CGI nobodies aren't they?
Bringing back Cat, in the context of the show, is pretty big and they know it hence why they're pushing it further away for as long as they can. I bet all they are waiting on GRRM going "she plays no real part in the end game" as an ok to cut her out.well if you believe the popular theory
technically"the hound" is dead.

Who is lady stoneheart? Is she who I think she is?
I thought this episode was okay. The only terrible thing was the hound storyline

How many characters have we actually seen coming back from the dead, Manny?
So far I know is just two. And they both are minor characters but played an important part.
I have to echo that I did sigh every time Brian's scenes came up on screen just like when I sighed when his chapters came up.
I hope his story have something going on, G.R.R. Martin!

You are reading/watching the wrong series then.

Isn't a huge part of Tyrion's motivation in the next book finding out "Where whores go?" Can't believe they cut that. The removal of Tyrion's bitter final words to Jamie and the inclusion of Shae hitting first also marred that scene for me somewhat. It was good but, like Denny says, not great.
The rest was great, although like most I was disappointed by the absence of Lady Stoneheart. Also, were the skeletons and old wizard guy in the books?

IIRC
they're just attacked by zombies at that point not skeletons. (DWD)
Bloodraven is in the book but the tree is growing through him rather than him just sitting in it like the show.

During Monday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel held up a printout of one of Lena’s Instagram posts (3x08 GoT) of herself with her thumbs pressed up against the eyes of the Pedro Pascal, who played the Red Viper. Kimmel pointed out that the way Red Viper wound up dying was that his eyes got thumbed out of their sockets. When Kimmel asked Lena if she had to get clearance to post that photo, she said, “No.” When Kimmel asked if people were upset that she had done this, Lena joked, “They haven’t said so. Maybe, I’ll die this year.”
Then, Kimmel showed a printout from Lena’s Instagram of (SOS) rocks arranged into a heart shape. Kimmel said, “Because I saw this that you posted on your Instagram also, which everyone thought was a reference to a character from the books. And everyone thought that since you did the last one, this meant (SOS) Lady Stoneheart…is that the name of the character…was going to be a part of the show. And then that didn’t happen.”
“No, that was me drunk in Palm Springs going this is so pretty,” replied Lena.

You know what.
It is the Tywin/Tyrion/Shae/Jaime bit that bothers me the most.
You could argue that they're saving LS for later but that scene lost an awful lot of its power with the way they have cut dialogue.
Real shame. After the RW probably the scene i was most looking forward to from the books.

Nah. Dont be. Season 4 is probably the best one so far. Just could have been incredible.
