You wish! Nearly finished A World of Ice and Fire anyway so I’ll be cracking on with Fire and Blood soonish, really liked the former and will most certainly enjoy the latter, it really makes me want The Winds of Winter even more though :(

While I’ve still got an interest in the books it’s amazing how much the final season has made me dislike the show, still a cracking first 4 seasons, with good episodes in the later ones but it just makes me feel disappointed in it on the whole.

He'd probably make a better job of it.

His Mistborn and Stormlight Archives books are great. Well, I haven't read the most recent Stormlight Archives book.

Absolutely loved The Mistborn Trilogy. Thought the whole plotting of it was excellent. The ending delivered.

I’m probably being really daft and naive but I’m really hoping that as Martin has always said book 5 was the tricky one and the last two will be easier that Winds is actually finished and we’re waiting on him to make good headway into DoS before Winds gets a release date. Or at least I did think this, with World of Ice and Fire/Fire and Blood vol 1 having both release since ADWD then it seems clear his focus isn’t on the main series as much, he’s probably writing more of Fire and Blood vol 2 rather than Winds/DoS :(

The Mistborn books are indeed excellent and if done right I think they'd make for an excellent fantasy TV series.

Need to read the Stormlight Archives books and have been meaning to for a while.

Only read the first two, first book is a bit slow in the beginning, but it really takes off about halfway through it. There's some incredible battle sequences in it.
