Really? Huh, I don't remember that at all. I swear she died right at the end of a chapter, and it was like "She fell into darkness" or some nonsense. I also don't remember John going to talk to Mance.

Read it again.

Yay at the last ep being longer. Reckon they'll fit it all in.

They'd better.

Storm of Swords: Her death scene and final words were the same as the book pretty much.

In Storm of Swords Janos Slynt and Alliser Thorne turn up after Jon's defended the wall for one night and put him on trial for betraying the watch. They let him go on the provision he kills Mance, knowing he'll almost certainly get killed.

That's only a spoiler if you know what it refers to. Same with (Storm of Swords) that picture of Lena Headey pretending to gouge out Pedro Pascal's eyes.

Ive been Naughty.

I told my mate Jon, Dany and Tyrion are not in the next book and he assumed (as i hoped he would) that they die in tonight's episode.
I also wore my spoiler T shirt in town today garnering some funny looks and comments.

Episode 10 episode/ book spoilers. Do not read until after the episode.

No lady Stoneheart. :x :x

Cersei telling Tywin about her and Jaime to stop her wedding to Loras. :fp:
Tyrion and Jaime involved no confession from Jaime about Tysha, No reply with "strawberry floating Lancel, Kettleback and Moonboy". No slap and No "I killed your vile son"

That revelation is part of what leads him to kill Tywin. It certainly leads him into the confrontation.
Killing Tywin was significantly changed. Shae didn't try to reason with him - she pulled a knife. :fp:

Then Tywin doesn't say "wherever Whores go" and Tyrion was seen as just upset about the Shae thing. We had five minutes of non existent CGI skeletons and the needless killing of Jojen before this. They could have left that for season 5 and given one of the key moments in the whole series more time.
Oh and The Hound fights Brienne?

Dear, dear me.

Daft thing is - wasn't a bad episode but it could have been amazing. Frustrating .

I have yet to watch it, but are you sure you aren't just pissed off because it didn't follow the books?

I think it's reasonable to rage a little about Stoneheart being missing.

For me, it's just the wait. I wanted to watch that bit with my brother and I had the chance last night, yet it wasn't there! I don't want to wait 10 months for it

I was surprised that (latest episode spoiler) Jolene got killed off. No black knight as well but he wasn't mentioned at all in earlier episodes so it make sense to cut him out. But I thought Jolene's death was unnecessary.

The minor changes didn't annoy me as I knew that there will be some changes from the books.

Although I'm disappointed that Lady Stoneheart didn't turn up at all. That would be a fitting end, even just a glimpse of her face. Hope they don't cut that character out.

Can some one remind me how the Hound originally end up dying? I'm a bit unsure about the change regarding Brienne finally "found" Arya.

Finds Arya and then loses her immediately. :fp: Which makes you think that they just wanted an excuse to have a fight between Brienne and the Hound before snapping back to the books.

That was annoying but the absence of Lady Stone heart and the cutting of vital bits of the tyrion denoument is pretty unforgivable for me.

They had the opportunity to have the cliffhanger of all cliffhangers and they strawberry floated it up. Totally unneccesary to have the cersei confession to Tywin as well. There was no linking scene then between Jaime and Cersei and then Jaime deciding to helping Tyrion.

The Mountain scene, the scene with Cersei and Tywin and CErsei and Jaime could all have gone for me - in favour of a longer end scene that both Dinklage and Dance deserved.

Shame because so much of the rest of the episode was spot on. Arya leaving the hound, catching the ship. Stannis and Jon's burning of Ygritte. All good. I just see this as the chance to make the best ever episode and they fumbled it.

4x10- (Storm of Swords spoilers) No Tysha and Lady Stoneheart makes Mori upset. I've been waiting a year for the Stoneheart reveal and throughout that episode I kept checking how much time was left wondering how they'd fit it in.

And Tyrion killing Shae in self-defence. :| Jesus Christ.

Had Tysha and Stoneheart been in I could have forgiven them for not having Stannis' men yell "STANNIS! STANNIS! STANNIS!"

If Stoneheart doesn't appear next season I don't know what they're going to do with Brienne.

Arya leaves Sandor to die after he's unable to heal from wounds sustained by a fight with (I think) Polliver and Gregor's men. He's still alive though as a priest found him and nursed him back to health. He's the gravedigger Brienne meets in AFFC.

So the director got asked about the obvious absence from the Game of Thrones finale (Storm of Swords spoilers):

Speaking to Vulture, Graves said that he first asked aloud about Lady Stoneheart during his third-season episode featuring Beric Dondarrion—the Brotherhood Without Banners leader who is Lady Stoneheart’s creator—only to have showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss say, “Oh, yeah, you know, that’s a whole thing that we’re just not sure what we’re going to do about.” As Graves tells both Vulture and Entertainment Weekly, they’re still unsure. “It was never going to be in the season,” he says, “yet it took off on the Internet like it was going to happen.”

Besides wanting, as always, to upset the Internet, the Game Of Thrones team had other reasons for keeping the character out of play. They already had a whole mess of concurrent storylines to keep track of, for one thing, but also: “To bring back Michelle Fairley, one of the greatest actresses around, to be a zombie for a little while—and just kill people?” Graves says to EW. “It is really sort of, what are we doing with that? How does it play into the whole story in a way that we’re really going to like?”[
