Go on ask me about my coffee machine - I dare you.

Coffee machines are of no interest to me, I don't know why they still get built, instant coffee has made them redundant

No lady Stoneheart. :x :x

Cersei telling Tywin about her and Jaime to stop her wedding to Loras. :fp:
Tyrion and Jaime involved no confession from Jaime about Tysha, No reply with "strawberry floating Lancel, Kettleback and Moonboy". No slap and No "I killed your vile son"

That revelation is part of what leads him to kill Tywin. It certainly leads him into the confrontation.
Killing Tywin was significantly changed. Shae didn't try to reason with him - she pulled a knife. :fp:

Then Tywin doesn't say "wherever Whores go" and Tyrion was seen as just upset about the Shae thing. We had five minutes of non existent CGI skeletons and the needless killing of Jojen before this. They could have left that for season 5 and given one of the key moments in the whole series more time.
Oh and The Hound fights Brienne?

Dear, dear me.

Daft thing is - wasn't a bad episode but it could have been amazing. Frustrating .

This is pretty much my exact feeling. The episode was pretty great, and to a non-book reading peasant it would seem brilliant. But oh what it could have been.

The TV show is basically the console version of ASOIAF.

To make us feel better, here are some gifs of Pedro Pascal crushing fruit. Because I don't know.

I think that news is great. Saying that, I stopped reading before I found out where that storyline was going so maybe it was brilliant.

Coldhands was one thing but Stoneheart

Book spoilers

On a purely business perspective, I'm not sure why they didn't dump Stoneheart at the end of the season to bring viewers back. My little brother, for example, would lose his gooseberry fool if the Starks re-entered the game. And on a purely 'revenge' or 'crazy paranormal gooseberry fool is getting real in the south' basis, she's important to the story.

A Stonheart reveal as the last scene of Season 4, right after the 'Arya on a boat with the wind in her hair and triumphant music playing' scene would have been absolutely incredible. I was so sure it was going to happen like that too, when the credits appeared it made then ending feel totally flat.

I don't understand the logical of leaving that character out FFS.

Or they are doing what THE OFFICE (US) SPOILER! Steve Carrell did for the office's final episode? Refuse to appear on screen, saying that he's already said his farewell and it's the rest of the cast's turn? And it turns out he was in the strawberry floating episode, delivering his trademark saying at the right time?

And like Jay CoffeheadPhoenix Arama said, I expected the same as he did regarding the final scene. I was reeling from the shock that it didn't happen and went into a huffy mood until after the credits are done. Bastards.

I was lucky that an American friend had messaged me while I was asleep on the Sunday night saying she was pissed at the episode, and I kinda worked it out before I saw it.

It's bad on a multitude of levels - if they had nailed that, and made the Tyrion stuff a little cleaner (Jaime burst in a little quickly didn't he?) then they could have been looking at one of the all time great TV finales.

And to be honest (re the importance of the character)

People aren't going to care if she's important or not. She'd be seen by viewers as a Stark who is hanging a load of Freys/seems in the books to be heading to a confrontation with Jaime Lannister. What's not to love? Particularly when they are going to drop a load of new Martells and Greyjoys on us, who a lot of viewers won't care about.

And it's going to be tough to get people on board with the Young Griff reveal too.

If the most exciting thing to happen next season is the Kingsmoot :dread: The only other alternative I can think of is Stannis vs Ramsay.

Bearing in mind they'll no doubt be mixing the books, we'll have the siege of Riverrun and Edmure's surrender. Cersei's plotting against Margaery, and Jaime's oh-so-satisfying refusal to help her. Maybe they'll somehow squeeze in some awesomeness with Brienne, though it's not looking likely. All the goings on in Dorne will be cool, the Quentyn stuff and Young Griff which I'm looking forward too. Apart from that there's some pretty stinking storylines to come. And from what I've heard they might be mixing some of the characters up a little, which could prove totally shite.

Really disappointed about this, quite liked Lady Stoneheart's character :( , was hopeing she would hang Jaime Lannister when he gets to her. (Even though it hasn't happened yet in the books, it looks like the story might be headed their..) Really hate all lannisters apart from Tyrion lol. Hope the writers change their mind.

They're all arseholes, but as the books progress you start to understand why they are so flawed and you become more sympathetic to them, even Cersei.

Not really Cersei. Jaime though is one of the most likeable characters in the entire series.

I disagree about the Ceresi thing. That character is still much hated. Even after that walk of shame.
