Sega of America and Sega of Japan were quite hostile toward one another during the 1990s. This hostility lead to Knuckles Chaotix, Sonic Xtreme's turbulent birth and death, and then Sonic 3D's creation in its place. They destroyed their own mascot.

Woah this is a lovely port. Dem menus. Game itself is a bit confusing though, had to watch a lets play video on youtube to get a grip on the time travel stuff.

It's in the main menu after you press start. It's the fifth option down.

The presentation on this is just lovely. Hd menus but using all the 16 bit assets. I always found the menus in the backbone ports far too bland and clinical.

Finished it last night. With no Time Stones. Bad ending. :x

Going to start it again today, now I know what I'm doing.

Can anybody clarify for me - for the trophy/achievement for finding all the UFO holograms (what are they called again?) and finding all the Metal Sonic holograms, do you have to find them all on one playthrough, or does it not matter? Because I just completed a run through the game finding all the UFO holograms, thinking it would unlock a trophy, but I didn't realise I had to find the Metal Sonic ones too. Please tell me I can just go and find them on another playthrough...

This is one of the best Sonics. The exploration aspect is so good.

Just got this on steam. Damn this looks amazing, much better than the half arsed port on the Sonic Gems Collection. Level design is still frustrating as all hell though, I got a game over on the last act of the last level, by falling into the only botomless pit in the whole freaking game. :fp:
