Maybe it's just me but....
I think I like the Sonic 3 sprites better, for Tails certainly.

What a trailer, I don't think I've been hyped for a Sonic game is Sonic CD, you know they hit the nostalgia sweet spot with that one.

Rumours that this is going to be less than £20. Total day one for me.
Really wish that this was getting a physical release though.

It's £15.99 on both PS Store and XBox Marketplace. On Steam there is a 10% discount and is currently £13.49 (usual price £14.99).

Lovely trailer, and I'm still really looking forward to this but the more they show the more I'm seeing it seem to align most closely with Sonic CD and I've gotta say that of the mainline 16-bit games that has to be my least favourite - the level design was pretty awful compared to 1, 2 and 3&K.
Still it's new Sonic looking far better than it has for such a long time so I'll be buying!
