PlayStation at E3 2014, what do you want to see?

Anything to do with games at all.

Back on topic, most people in this topic (and the XBO version) are going to ask for sequels, because that is all we know. So it just comes down to listing new entries in the franchise of games we enjoyed last gen. So for me:

God Of War (strawberry float off if you disagree, Kratos  )
Heavenly Sword (although given the main character dies in the original, not sure where the story would go)
New Uncharted game
Sequel to Heavy Rain
Little Big Universe
Dead Space 4
R&C

I doubt we'll see a sequel to Heavy Rain, but I do expect they'll release a game in similar vein.

Just have to hope it is like Heavy Rain instead of Beyond.

Can't really see how you could have a sequel as the story was concluded. :(

A copy-cat killer storyline would be ideal if they did a sequel.

But seriously, I would love a mystery/detective storyline again than the sci-fi fantasy theme running through Beyond.

Good call, Deaths - I'm still working through Dead Space on the PS3, with DS2 (yay!) and DS3 (apparently not so yay) lined up. I'd be keen to see DS4 arrive; hopefully it'd utilise the power of the new gen to add detail to the environments and the creatures.

I'm finding Dead Space 2 a bit of a bore, to be honest. I far prefer DS1, obviously.

I'll stick with it and see if it gets better. (And I have DS3 on the hard drive as well. Sigh.)

DS3 is OK. The biggest problem for me is when you play the games too close together (which is probably what I did with DS2 and DS3).

How is that next gen? Why couldn't that be on the PS3? The state of some of you :fp:

We haven't had any proper games yet, which is why most people apart from the hardcore don't have any next gen consoles. If you can't see that, you are either in denial in an attempt to justify your purchase, or just a silly fanboy. If you still don't believe me, look at what the biggest game for the PS4 releasing this year is. It is clearly going to be TLOU, which is a port of the PS3 version.

Which leads me to my original point; I am excited to see what proper next gen games they show, because I want some motivation to buy this thing.

Do you even know what you are talking about? Go watch some videos, I mean some proper HD streams (none of the low bandwidth mobile video nonsense) then come back to me.

A PS3 would go into meltdown trying to run either of those games. Most PCs would even struggle with them.

I would also like a game in there too.

I would like Sony to first show a new trailer for the amazing-looking The Last Guardian, and then announce that the game will be available on the PlayStation Store as soon as the press conference ends. 8-)

Also, Uncharted 4 having a release date in November 2014, please.

Hopefully they'll announce a brand spanking new Everybody's Golf game.

Some big games would be nice.

Sure I am looking forward to The Order 1886 and DriveClub, but what else do Sony have? Nothing yet, get some big games announced for strawberry floats sake. Stop with this remaster bullshit too.

What I'd really like to see is Santa Monica working on something big and ambitious that doesn't begin with a "G" and end with "od of War"

I reckon we'll see the following during the presser:

Trailers:
DriveClub
From Software's new Souls game
Mad Max
Batman Arkham Knight
Final Fantasy XV
Watch_Dogs DLC
inFamous Second Son DLC
GTA 4 DLC plus announcement of PS4 port (not exclusive)
indie show reel
Vita show reel
PS3 show reel

Stage presentation:
The Order 1886
Uncharted 4 (release date announced for May 2015)
Destiny
Assassin's Creed Unity
Media Molecule's new project (further gameplay reveal at Gamescom)

Ending with a trailer for The Last Guardian with a release date of December 2014.

Before or during E3 Sony will announce Remasters of Uncharted trilogy, God of War III & Ascension, Beyond Two Souls and Gran Turismo 6 all due before the end of the year bar GT6 which will launch in March 2015.
