They just showed another trailer and graphically it's a bit mixed. Some shots of the creature look incredible, but the boy character is more cartoony. I think the game will be great but I dont expect it to visually be in the same league as God of War or Uncharted.

That was a strong conference. Not the best ever but a good showing with a couple of great surprises.

Normally after a great conference I've seen two maybe three games that I'm sure I want to get. No exaggeration, this is what I'm feeling after watching that conference for a second time.
God of War - Buy
Days Gone - Buy
Last Guardian - Buy
Horizon - Buy
Detroit - Buy
Resi 7 - Buy
Star Wars VR - Buy
Batman VR - Buy
Final Fantasy XV - Possibly Buy
COD Infinity War - Looked Fantastic I have never bought a COD game, this could be it.
That is strawberry floating insane.

Hnnggh, that was one good showing and not a graph in sight (maybe there was). I didn't think I'd be back on the GOW hype train but wow, blown away.
Detroit, if the voice acting is bad at this stage, it's going to be a car crash. Looked lovely though.

Now that dubious honour goes to FIFA and CoD. Though to be fair, they have more than made the part their own.

This is the first year I've missed the Sony conference in a good while now and it looks like I missed a treat. Gonna have to get caught up when I get in from work tonight. As a pretty big God of War fan I looking forward to seeing what sounds like a new direction for the series.

I was feeling very ill last night and exhausted so for the first time that I remember, I went to bed and watched it in the morning!

Haven't you been an avid follower of the same games industry that I have? It is very rare for a company to reveal a triple-A exclusive then have it out within less than six months. It did happen with Fallout 4 but that was the exception. I think the purpose of the conference is to show us games we can play this year
and in the future so that gamers know it is a platform that is being supported - this is a good thing! One of the weaknesses of the Microsoft conference was that they didn't show any new exclusives for next year. The only reason XBO has a big game coming out in 2017 is because Scalebound was delayed. I do understand that if you see a game like God of War you want to play it as soon as possible, but future releases demonstrate that Sony is supporting PS4 over the longterm.
