After the infamous torture trailer, you had people come out and say "TLOU was always gory and violent", and I always felt that missed the point. It had moments of violence and moments of gore, but they weren't fundamental tenants of the game. I always thought the game was quite melancholic, a little weary and tired in terms of viewing the outbreak. Even in terms of visuals, it wasn't a moody, depressing game. I sort of felt the tone of the trailer jarred with what i'd played in the first game.

EDIT - A disclaimer that I'm at work, so I'm not going on what's been shown tonight. Just that trailer a year back.
