Anyone else sick to death of seeing Skyrim over and over again?

There was some good stuff there but this is the most underwhelmed i've felt after a Sony conference for some time.

It's been confirmed for a while that a remake of Resi 2 is happening. It would've been nice to get a teaser for it.

Oh okay   First time I've heard about it.

Maybe we'll get it at Gamescom, PS Ex, etc...

more than likely I think

Marketing deals  SotC remake would have been lovely as a year closer.

They showed Gran Turismo in the preshow and gave it an Autumn release window.

They also dated Knack 2 (5/9/17) and showed that too.

Skyrim VR is definitely very interesting.

It's definitely interesting in a 'how can they still keep milking this cow 6 years later' kind of way.

If it is the full experience and can be played without nausea then I am so up. To adventure in a fantasy world in VR will be unbelievable. I'm going to feel a bit cautious in the dungeons against the undead.

If you missed it there was an hour before the actual conference that actually showed other stuff off.

EDIT - Skip to 36 minutes if you want to see GT stuff.

Definitely. No major exclusive announcements. But showing bigger chunks of known games to see what they play like. What is weird is that they didn't show Knack 2 or Ni No Kuni 2 when these exclusives could have easily fit in. And coming after two phenomenal years of conferences it was disappointing. I wasn't expecting this to be a classic year but there could have been more.

Also, have to say these 'Content Creators' YouTubers on the official YT channel all seem to have the same over the top

They did though.

They also announced a new program for games for none gamers including a mobile controlled game from the developers of Until Dawn called Hidden Agenda.

Thought that was pretty poor. Interested in God of War but it was very cinematic and the bits that actually looked like gameplay were stiff. CHRISTOPHER JUDGE though :datass: Uncharted thing was Uncharted thing. Never played SOTC so I'm up for that if it's been well done. Remember seeing a friend play it back in the day and it really looked clumsy. Quite surprised to see it seeing as it's already been HD upped. I'm not really into superhero stuff but Spiderman looked great. A bit of a QTE fest though. My main concern would be the mission design. Having played Infamous Second Son recently I fear you might have these cool abilities but pretty cack repetitive tasks with little variety.

Can't think of anything else that really spoke to me.

I have only played VR for a short time round a friend's house one evening, but don't most games where the player isn't rooted to a set seating position cause nausea after a while?

In theory a game like Skyrim would really benefit from the immersion VR brings, but I do wonder how a 100 hour+ game is going to play and feel in VR. I haven't followed developments in this area, but won't it pretty much be the meatiest, "traditional" game so far to appear in VR?

I'm glad I fell asleep before it started. No surprises and not a lot to get excited about.

First time I've been disappointed in a Sony event in years. I judge these things in announcements and apart from expansions, a remaster and Monster Hunter, I don't think there were any. God of War and Spider-Man do look brilliant though. I think they're spreading themselves over too many of these shows.
