Also they announced wireless earbuds which look sexy :wub:

if they work with Switch as well I can see me getting a pair of those.

I don't have a laptop or a decent mobile phone and I like the idea of simple streaming to a nice-sized portable screen with decent controllers. I guess I'm part of the target market.

I wonder what the cost will be? A good quality (OLED?) eight-inch screen can't be *that* expensive, can it? Add on seventy quid for the controller(s) and a few quid for a case and receiver/transmitter... maybe a total cost of around £189?

This seems like an absolute rip off to me. If you want a handheld PS4/PS5 style device this isn’t it as you need a PS5 to begin with.

You can stream to other devices already. I sort of get the idea but this will come in no doubt at £250-300 but just seems doomed to failure.

Why not actually devise a handheld device instead? Do I really need a handheld streaming platform with the console right there?

Another thought... would the "controller halves" be detachable and/or replaceable? I'd hope that they could be replaced as wear n' tear could be an issue.

It's choice, I guess. This device won't be something that everyone wants; but personally I could imagine using it a lot as I often use my Switch whilst laying on the sofa or sat up in bed.

Well that’s not going to work

We don't really know any of the tech being used at this point; the announcement was extremely light on detail and hopefully Sony will soon share more info.
