I hope there's some sort of modern day context to this, that they do something with the pretty big cliffhanger from the end of Syndicate. If its a disconnected prequel I'm not all that fussed. Hopefully there'll be some First Civilisation tech kicking about or something.

Loving the setting of the game, but that doesn't look anywhere near as good as Horizon Zero Dawn graphically. I understand it's unfinished. But if that's what it looks like on the Xbox One X then colour me unimpressed.

It could be a pretty interesting setting. I reckon it'd have a bit of a Peaky Blinders feel to it, but with a lovely Irish brogue.

I would have at least expected some new animations in this. Looks like every other Ass Creed ever.

The game was in development before Unity, wasn't it?

This is the probably with multi, protracted development cycles across a franchise. We've had two iterations since they started work on Origins and the game itself must have been worked on since at least mid-2014.

The "Dawn of the Creed: Legendary Edition" is available to pre-order from the Ubi Store for £699.99. Now that may sound a little expensive, but it does include a figurine, a steelbook *and* the season pass...

It's a cliche, but what's the figurine made of, gold?

£700 but you're still lumbered with the art book of the mini variety. Tight sods.

Resin

As for the game itself...

I really wanted to like it, especially after hearing naval warfare returning, but after seeing the presentation... *yawn*. Maybe playing AC Syndicate will help?

This game will release next week and it seems like not many people will get this. I am getting it but I’ll save it for Christmas Day.

I'm looking forward to it. I might not get it at launch, but I'll certainly have it by the end of the year. Assassin's Creed has been a regular Christmas feature for years, and it was a shame not to have one last year (though the two Watch Dogs filled the gap).

I'll be doing the exact same thing Bor. Assassin's Creed always ends up being a Christmas day game for me.
