Rula are you sure Jezo wasn't a hitman because I was 100%

I had a bad game but I maintain I played the facts in front of me well. We got unlucky with Jezo being busy on the first day and hitting that 25% chance that he got put in the group with the killer. It was too much of a coincidence to overlook.

Feel like I might have it right this time with my Caruso theory. I realise it looks "suspicious" for me to finger him then get killed, but that makes it not suspicious, right?

Check my above posts, but I have him fingered as well.

Gonna be honest I thought you were Dan the whole game. I guess Dan or Drumstick must be Caruso. I think the other is likely Crest or Moorhead based on posting style.

My posting style is really hard to miss. Also I can't believe how badly I missread the rules that I was even quoting.

The sad thing is I think this might already be over. I don't know who's left out of the citizen side of things but it feels everyone is far too inactive for anything to ever happen. The issue was three of the more active citizens were killed because people started witchhunts again based on the very little information we did have while likely the hitmen just sat back and watched it unfold. I don't know what it is about PMless games on GR but it's like people don't understand you can just post what you would've pm'd and it won't make a big difference.

I think the hitmen just played the voting really well. I didn't have time to do it but analysing the votes will reveal who was ensuring it was a 3 way tie.

Caruso voting for you was suspicious to me. "Ingram was in both the kill groups" seems a decent enough reason on the surface but it's not a logical choice when you consider than the hitmen would try to avoid this.

I think it didn't help that you saw what Caruso said and just ran with it without questioning anything at the time, but maybe you didn't have time.

All it took was for someone to see his and your post and be like well I guess that makes sense and the hitmen probably all voted along with it.

Well the rest of his post made total sense! Someone snuck in and went against their assigned group on the first day without calling attention to it. That's suspicious!

I always had the possibility that they could be a hitman giving "helpful" facts that they know can't harm their team but with nothing better to go on from the get go it's much better to play the numbers and start working together to try and draw out patterns of voting.

I still think I played the facts in front of me well, I just went with the most likely option rather than obsessing over potential malice, which is what happened.

We just got unlucky with an innocent being randomly assigned to the killing group, and an innocent not playing along with the plan. As always with these things it relies on buy-in from the village and that's tough to do and easy to obsfucate in the early game.

How exactly did the locations get split 1:2:6 today?! A win if the hitman is in the group of 1 (cant make a kill - identified) 2 (will make a kill - identified), but lets face it, they're in the group of 6!

I leave for Germany on day 1 of the game, am too busy during the trip to be able to contribute meaningfully, then the day i return home I am brutally murdered!

I was planning on going through the game thread today, and giving it some proper analysis before engaging in some quality fingering too.
