Hey at least I know I'm a bad player.

I didn't think I was so bad I needed to be killed in place of the democratic vote though.

So I’ve caught up on the last 5 pages of the thread,

Is the noble on the village or wolf side of things? Or neutral? I’m guessing village but it’d be interesting if they were a role who could help the wolves as well (although if I had the role, I’d have no clue who to lynch or save either so would have no idea which side I was unintentionally helping or hindering!). Kezzer seems to have been another strong player from the start as well, one the wolves surely would be keen on removing if they weren’t aligned somewhat to their side? I’ve seen on the previous page of this thread Kezzer has claimed a role but not seen which one, again it’s raise suspicions of mine if he revealed his role publicly and then didn’t get lynched

Glad to see this thread alive again.

By my count there were 13 MPs and 12 special roles on the good side. So it's funny that all kills so far have been normal MPs.

Edit: Also, Moggy pointing out that there could be more than one of several special roles, but I don't think that's possible based on the number of roles. Only one role could be duplicated.

Now they've got Captain "I'll go with the majority when it makes sense" Kinopio, perhaps they'll appreciate how I handled the role and steered the ship.

That said, he's made the right move, but he's going to piss of a lot of people. Perhaps he's doing what I was, trying to create enough suspicion for the wolves to leave him alone.

Nun made a post in Forum Game Test Group but it's gone. Is he OK?

I do think a wolf jumping straight into the speaker role could have gone quite far. The biggest obstacle would be explaining why the wolves haven't killed you but you can use the "keep me suspicious" excuse for a while and then claim someone protected you. In a thread without PMs it's not possible for an actual protector to come forward and dispute that, plus they might think there are two of them anyway.

Early game you'd just have avoid a vigilante, and mid-game you might have to kill a fellow wolf, but I think there is a path where it works.

It was just this one.

Nun wrote:4/4 on strong players lost according to Qikz.

Drumstick, Dan, Aaron and Satriales all gone.

How will the village recover.

This is why I don't want to run a mafia game.

Thought it was harmless enough and didn't want to miss the window of opportunity :P

This was a secondary reason for me pushing hard to become the inaugural Speaker. We needed a fast start and to pass laws that gave us new abilities ASAP.

I moved it into this thread :)

...and it's happened again

You could argue it just shows both the conformists and special roles are doing a good job of laying low, but it is quite extreme how 7 regular members have now died before anyone else! On balance I think this is good for the town.

Robbo-92 wrote:Is the noble on the village or wolf side of things?

The Noble is parliament aligned. In general Mafia vote riggers are super powerful - they can effectively end the game a day early if they survive until the endgame, as the final vote over which the town can gain a majority can be rigged. A town vote rigger is still a great role but not quite as impactful on balance!

If I were in the game I’d now just be bleating on about how at least one of Kezzer or Vermilion must be dodgy as, just to be proven wrong in 12 hours

Thanks for the answer too OR.

I still think Kezzer is just playing like Kezzer and I bloody love him for it.

The fact that Mori or Moggy wasn't killed is whats setting off alarm bells for me honestly.

Herbi going for PCA in the face of the democratic decision is infuriating to read.

When I made that point I meant comedy as in funny, not bad.

I also thought Aaron was fine. He was able to pick up on Dan acting differently but didn't pick up on my pureness.
