If golf was played with lightsabers, I would watch it all the time.

Mo Farah or Amir Khan for me. Amir was the only one who they made a point of showing his contributions outside of his 'performances'

Pleased for Cavendish.

Sad Strauss didn't even make the top three.

Cavendish :D
So glad he won.
For the past few years he's proven himself to be the best sprinter in road racing. Consistently winning stages of the tour de france, yet not really recognised back home. He deserves it.

GRcade predicted the result correctly, then. 8-)

(unless some people voted after the results were announced...)

Glad he won, although I would've liked Darren Clarke to win as well.

Andy Murray is another Tim Henman. Nothing to be ashamed of though. Henman was a good player in his own right too.

He's much much better than Henman.

Comparably equal as they are both not quite as good as the top players of their era.

Murray is consistently good on all surfaces (Henman only really did it at Wimbledon) but both fall short in the majors.

I wanted to Clarke to win it and was surprised that Cavenidsh did (although he's a worthy winner).

Did Cavendish win the Tour de France this year? I only ask as both Farah and Clarke won majors this year.

Sorry, I meant yellow jersey, but if he's World Champion then he's definitely deserving of the award. gg Cav.

Pleased for him. Hope footballers put in a better performance next year though as I find it hard to become enthusiastic about a lot of these sports regardless of how impressive their achievements are.
