Anyone want an invite?

Let me know if you need someone to sign you up :) It is available for free in any country, you just need to have a UK based IP address for signing up. For signing in it doesn't matter anymore... :D

And that's all I've got to say about that.

What's the difference between this and Last.fm?

Spotify is like having the entire iTunes library in front of you and choosing exactly what you want to play at any time in whatever order instantly. I presume that the subscription-less LastFM still won't let you play any track in the order you choose? That's the main difference.

If you're all about discovering new music, then the way LastFM works will make that easier. But if you know the artists you want to listen to (if you don't have the albums but you've always wanted to hear them, for example) then Spotify kills it. But even with discovering new music, Spotify's collaborative playlists, genre/artist radios and such-like still enable you to find new stuff you'll like, although it's not as intrinsic to the experience as it is with LastFM.

At this point, Spotify isn't really interested in social networking in the same way either.

Can't access the playlist. Always comes up with an error. Is there any way to search for it and choose it?

The Hot Leg was me :shifty:

Had the album in my car for weeks, figured the few Darkness fans on here might like it :)

Thanks to Spotify, I've finally been able to get into Bob Dylan. I've always liked the odd song of his I've I've heard, but trying to decide on an album to start with has always been an impossible task. Spotify solved that problem though, and Blonde on Blonde and Blood on the Tracks in particular are amazing.

You don't need an invite. Just sign up on www.spotify.com. :)

Has anyone else running Windows 7 tried using this? It won't open for me.

Edit: Working now. Carry on.
