In other news, I just finished Spyro 3. Well, everything but the Bonus Round area. The final boss was piss easy compared to Ripto, but I'm very thankful this one didn't have any "don't get damaged in this boss lolol" achievements or skill points.

Edit: The snowboard race thing in this last area can strawberry float right off. Definitely using a guide to knock it off.

Insomniac's heart was in the right place but strawberry float sake did it need a complete overhaul.

Also this:

strawberry float that discount Mario bullshit. It gave me motion sickness on PlayStation 1 and it's cutesy graphics make me want to heave now.

My wee sister bought the new version and I had to bite my lip really hard to not repeatedly punch her in the face. I gave her a loan of Detroit about a month ago and I still don't think she's touched it.

Oh it irks me so it does.

While I'm at it, strawberry float Crash Bandicoot too. Piece of gooseberry fool.

I found it a bit annoying, but what I did is focus to collect all gems first. Then focus on the race and it took me several attempts, but I managed to get it.

Yeah, I did a couple of races to snare the gems, and tonight I'll start working on the race proper.

Alas I believe his PS+ save was still within range of the glitch, not sure he realised immediately at the time. Did seem fairly definitive that it was too little too late

He may have to restart the game, then, if it's possible to restart only one. That's gonna suck.

Spyro 3 have a few glitches but I’m lucky that it never blocked any progress for me.

The best way for your friend is to restart a new game.

Back up the save before he tried that world, and make sure that any auto upload saves for Spyro is switched off.

Just bought this trilogy. I forgot how frustrating the flying levels are!

All in all I am enjoying this again.

Yeah same I haven’t experienced any game breaking glitch. Just one issue within the same world but I just exited and tried again and I was able to progress.
