Licensed comic book game, meh

I'm interested to see more of it. Tonally they're leaning into the MCU version of the characters, which is understandable. I don't get the same "ick" that I did looking at the Avengers characters. I think that them not all being humans helps there though.

Getting some of the actual Guardians writers on board helps too.

Cautiously optimistic on this one.

I'm sure it's very comic accurate but like Avengers it's just weird them not looking like the MCU people.

I didn't really get that reaction with Avengers but this is really triggering something unpleasant for me.

It's only weird if you've only known of the MCU iterations.

Yeah. It would be nice if it let you switch between them, even if only in combat.

That said, the combat so far seemed a bit flat.

This is what the presentations have been missing so far. Nothing like a good long look at something new.

I was interested in this when they revealed it, but this extended gameplay has put me off it :slol:
