Cheers. :D I very much enjoyed making it and hopefully DICE add a generous enough amount of new content this year to justify doing another.

Surprising to see Triple XP ongoing, not that I'm complaining as my hero starfighters are lagging behind pretty much everything else atm. Played a few rounds of Ewok Hunt earlier but definitely more of a temporary distraction - a bit like Jetpack Cargo, which I would like to see brought pack, if only for a limited time.

None of my hero starfighters are fully leveled up. I've got one or two at level 24 but most are around 20. This event has definitely helped me level them up a bit.

Ewok Hunt is my go-to outside the daily challenges, tbh. It's just relaxed, easy fun, don't need to worry about reinforcements or weapons or any of that - it's just simple survival. I really enjoy it, despite the lack of maps.

Age of Rebellion (Original Trilogy)

As January comes to a close, our attention turns to February and, with it, the confirmation that we will return to the Original Trilogy and the Age of Rebellion. This includes bringing specific planets to both Co-Op and, later on, Supremacy. We know that many of you have been requesting this and we’re incredibly excited at the prospect of playing as Luke, Leia, Darth Vader and more, through both Co-Op and Supremacy.

With the arrival of the Original Trilogy we will make a name change: Capital Supremacy will simply be known as Supremacy. We’re renaming this game mode to encompass all eras as the upcoming Original Trilogy variant will be fought exclusively on the ground.

During development, we looked at the experiences that both Death Star II and Scarif would offer, deciding that the Age of Rebellion would be focused on ground-based combat, which is a better fit for some of the more iconic locations we have available. It’s hard to imagine leaving the Death Star to go to a capital ship, let alone having to deal with the shield that surrounds Scarif. But, don’t worry – it’s still the same great Supremacy experience, just focused on ground-based gameplay.

And, yes – you heard that right – we’re bringing Scarif back from 2015’s Star Wars Battlefront! This is one of the most highly requested planets and we’re incredibly excited to see it return to the battlefront.

More details on the specifics of our Age of Rebellion content will come in February, but before that arrives, we’re just days away from the next update.

Alvin, dude, I'm genuinely pleased for you that, after sticking with the game following those first early steps by EA, there has since been a sea of changes and you're enjoying the action!

Thanks! It's been a rough road, and admittedly, I don't play as much as I used to (because I do need to play things other than this), but I still have a few skins to unlock (the great new Commando Droid and ARC Trooper skins - no Celebration Edition for me), and I really like to turn my mind off and hunt Ewoks, so I still play daily.

Scarif was one of the best things in BF2015 and I'm just glad that it's coming back in the spring - hopefully alongside new OT heroes, skins and reinforcements.

I hope to see more new heroes, reinforcements, skins and maps for all eras (Coruscant, Eadu and Kijimi would make a great trio) after OT Supremacy is complete, and a continuation of the game's live content service on the next gen platforms.

I give up on this. Too many bottle necks and the heroes are annoying as hell. I had quite a good game the other day where I was getting plenty of kills per death, the best yet, and I realised that even then I wasn't enjoying it all that much.

I've redownloaded Battlefield 1 for my online FPS.

Scarif! Yes! I can finally play that map offline for once. And once the Original Trilogy maps are added to Instant Action, it'll be very close to beating the 2005 Battlefront. All it'd need is a starfighter mode better than Starfighter TDM in Arcade, though I doubt we'd ever see that happen.

I was a big fan of the first Battlefront game.

I didn't get this on release. I spent about 2 years playing the first pretty much non stop so wanted to play other stuff, I'm not a huge fan of the non original trilogy eras and there was the initial bad press around the pay to win aspect.

Ended up picking this up for £5 when it was on sale about a year ago. Played it on and off for about 20 hours and just didn't get on with it. Felt very fast paced, twitchy, Ive never found it so hard to actually shoot someone! Was very frustrating. At times even went back and played the first one over this.

Gave it another go a few weeks ago after going to see ROS. I've not played anything else since! Very pleased with the sound of the latest update.

As with all online multilayer FPS a lot depends on the people you are playing with. The amount of people who just run around like headless chickens can make be exasperating!

I enjoy the grind of levelling everything up.

I've just got off from playing on Co-op on the PC version. I've only played on the Empire side, but I can confirm the ISB Agent is a blast to use, and all the maps are great in Co-op. Just before I turned off, I unlocked the T-21 for the Heavy, so next time I load up I can put it to some use.

Took forever to load in when I first booted the game up, though. Felt as though it wanted to take the award of longest load time from GTA Online.

Has anyone else noticed that the Heroes Vs Villains Yavin IV map has switched location to the landing area at the temple base? :D

Also yes, OT co-op is wonderful. I'm loving it. I unlocked all the new trooper blasters last night, I'll be trying to get all their add-ons soon. I hear the Cycler Rifle is amazing with them.

Co-op is now the best mode to achieve those hero milestones in this game - I just nabbed the "force push 5 enemies at once as Luke" one on Kessel (second phase, cliffside command center post), which had been evading me since launch.

The last big update. :(

Scarif, Crait for HvV, OT Supremacy (featuring starfighters), OT Instant Action, Offline Instant Action Missions, new Maul, Rey and Palpatine skins, new trooper appearances for Scarif.

I still hold hope they'll put the rest of the maps into Supremacy and Instant Action.

Scarif looks great, so I'll be diving into that one as soon as.

Unlocking the new Rey Skywalker skin is... a process:

Image

“The pirate is hiding something”... Hondo Ohnaka! Ben’s favorite pirate! Check his portrait! It HAS to be Hondo!

Edit: I think there’s a separate treasure room in the castle? Check that too!

Double Edit: SHOOT HIS PORTRAIT, YOU’LL GET A CHIME AND IT’S THERE

Triple Edit: Okay, so whatever drops, you pick it up, but it doesn’t unlock the skin. There has to be something more. The closet next to the portrait has chains around it, it HAS to be related..

Fourth Edit: So the process so far is shoot the Hondo portrait, get the medal, hear the first chime. run to the Slave 1, hear the second chime. Find the buttons at the very front of the Slave 1, use first last middle, get the third chime. Anything else is still being found out

Fifth edit: After having done the process above, you’ll notice that the tent covering the Slave 1 has 3 red buttons. If you’ve done the first three steps correctly, the first and last will flash red, then blue. Red and blue, the light and dark? The middle one is the only one that stays red... It HAS to mean something.

Sixth edit: Okay, so we know that the closet in the same room as Hondo’s portrait is hiding something, we just need to find a way to remove those chains. I’ve tried swapping to Rey immediately as I did all steps, ran to the room, and nothing. I tried running down to where Anakin’s saber is, and nothing. I’m really really stuck on what to do next...

Seventh Edit: I’m still completely stuck, but I looked at Ben’s twitter and he sent a Palpatine GIF as a response to BattlefrontUpdates saying he’s stuck in the same spot as we are. Palpatine... “The two become the one true emperor”. Two buttons, one flashing more blue than red, one flashing more red than blue, one completely red. Is this all connected...?

Eight Edit: WE MADE A BREAKTHROUGH! After the flashing lights, run to the top of the castle, go on the right side and try to fall on the 501st Flag (black flag with stormtrooper on it). It’ll activate the basement door! You can run down to it and you’ll find a special surprise that might bring a tear to your eye. Still no Rey skin though... Something must be missing!

Ninth Edit: We did it, lads. The skin is unlocked online only, no single player. Try it on Co-Op. Others have been able to unlock it too, using the same method in Co-Op. It’s fitting that I end it with a 9th edit... Thank you to everyone who helped solved this mystery. May the force be with you, always.

What kind of an obtuse puzzle is that? And here I was thinking the unlock of Maul's Rebels skin would be harder.

It's one better suited to inclusion in a singleplayer campaign. I don't know how I'll get it, the steps are so out of sync with the realities of the online modes.
