Usually, unless the attackers are insanely good, the vehicle health will hit 50 or below. The matches I played during Heroes Unleashed it hardly touched 75.

Map rotation is for gooseberry fool at the moment. Constantly finding ourselves on Jakku, Takkodana and Hoth.

Been on Endor, Kashyyyk and Star Killer base once.

The others haven't come up at all.

EA really needs to put in a system where you choose timelines and a map vote. They probably won't though.

What to expect when you're expecting Geonosis:

Map rotation based on era. Excellent.

Will it become a permanent feature though?

Nope, it'll revert back to normal with added Geonosis in a few days.

They need to give players the option to choose their map rotations - all maps, Clone Wars, OT, New Era. I don't see how that would be so hard, unless it exposes how limited the map count really is.

Only a Clone Wars era rotation. Not all three era playlists. The original idea was to have Geonosis-only over five days, which obviously brought ire. So another Clone Wars era playlist it is while Geonosis-only is knocked down to just two days.

As for Geonosis, it is a fun map to play through. And it feels extremely balanced as to who can win.

How is the game for levelling up Grevious / Obi wan? Is it still a grind?

Grievous is a challenge to play well with, I find. His signature moves are difficult to use effectively. I feel like he works best as an ambush predator, catching enemies unawares for easy kills.

I've found that when testing him in arcade. He has massive damage output but is slow to execute it. Using the crawl is great for mobility, but if within a group of enemies they can quickly overwhelm as you jump out from it.

And yeah, levelling is still a grind, but while all this Clone Wars goodness is going on there's double XP until the end on Monday so it's best to take advantage.

Ah gooseberry fool I forgot all about that. Need to get in some time on it tonight.

Edit: Intense Geonosian battle this evening. Anyone else notice the Separatist Officer wields a sniper rifle by default on this map?

Edit again: Nevermind, turns out it was just the S-5 blaster pistol. :fp:

Got some great games in last couple of nights. Geonosis is an excellent map.

So, okay, when we got Crait a year ago, we got D'Qar soon after. Any ideas if they're going to give us a nice new Clone Wars space battle to accompany Geonosis?

I suspect a new Community Transmission will be released either today or tomorrow.
There's a new Obi-Wan appearance based on his Clone Wars design to come this month, after all, and these weekend events have proven popular to have them stop. If there was a space battle thrown in there for release this month, I'd want Battle of Coruscant.

That would be my first pick too. I can only imagine how epic it would be.

In fact, I think it would be a battle exceptionally well suited to this new Conquest mode they're cooking up, too: A Venator and a Separatist Dreadnought lined up near each other, a couple of small ancillary vessels on either side kind of separating them, command posts on both big ships. Should be pretty doable, I would think.

Any further updates on Ashoka Tano & Asajj Ventress possibly coming to SWBF2?

Had a look but still only rumours from last October.

Considering they still haven't announced when we're getting this new mode [a proper set date], I doubt we'll hear anything about that for months unless something comes up at Celebration.

Not true. Apparently there was a vote and that was the most requested. :dread:
