Troopers are fairly easy, as is the wildlife if it's smaller than you. I'm not great at games and have managed fairly easily on Jedi Knight with only a couple of boss fights taking 2 or 3 attempts.

Yeah, I was aware it was "lite" version of Dark Souls and not that extreme from reviews. I can safely say I am never going to bother trying those games

Basically, I was on my third planet (went to the red one after was given the choice) and had to repeat the opening section so many times although I was basically button mashing for awhile. I don't think I expected the combat to require more than that which is on me to be fair

I will keep it on Knight for now anyway as I was getting a little better by the end of the planet. And when it clicked, for those brief moments it felt awesome.

Don't do Dathomir (red) until you've done Kashyyyk (green). Also worth backtracking to the other two planets before Dathomir to collect secrets.

Well, too late for that now!

I read something saying do Dathomir first because you get the dual lightsaber

You can get that in 2 places, I found it in a workshop on the first planet.

Well I dunno why that guide told me to do that then.

I am underpowered for that area if I go there straight from Bogano?

I'd say so as the bog standard enemies seem much harder than Kashyyyk.

While I wouldn't say underpowered, the enemies on Dathomir hit harder so it comes down to whether you want to use it as a training area, or get better naturally while also gaining more skills you can use in combat before returning.

If you get the dual lightsaber from the workshop you get a cutscene. If you get it from Dathomir you don't. The dual lightsaber isn't really that beneficial. I found the normal one far more effective.

I found the double lightsaber on Kashyyyk before the boss fight. Seems to be available in a few places!

Another vote against the double lightsader (though I have only just unlocked the enhanced throw which might be better with that saber). The skill that switches it mid combo annoys the strawberry float out of me.

It was amazing for deflecting multiple laser blasts once you unlock that skill. The heavy gunners with the shields can be defeated in one go from a distance then.

Why does Cal have literally no arse? The running animation looks so janky with his legs going straight up into his torso :dread:

Do you unlock fast travel at any point? If not, I doubt I'll go for 100% as I can imagine backtracking through empty levels to find one or two missed items being pretty dull.

Enjoying it so far but if it wasn't Star Wars I'd probably have passed on it and played something else like God of War, Tomb Raider or Dark Souls.

There is no fast travel, and I don't understand why it wasn't added after all the complaints at it not being there.

I think the closest thing you get are the shortcut doors you can open that let you get around a little quicker. The worst part for exploration is the single chest I missed in the last part of Kashyyyk :slol: Took me about 15 minutes of straight sprinting across the planet to get to it.

I think I've spoiled the end of the game for me now. I decided to go hoovering up the chests and secrets before heading to what I think is the final planet and now I've got no enthusiasm for actually finishing the game. I've probably got a 15-20 minute hike back to the ship and I just can't be arsed at the moment.

Damn that sucks. Tomb Raider's fast travel was perfect for scooping up collectibles in the end game.

I don't think you really need fast travel, as you open up shortcuts as you go through levels for the first time. It seems to work alright.

Enjoying a second playthrough anyway, getting through the areas a lot quicker but can appreciate the puzzles a lot more.
