I'm liking the story and interactions, and the exploration, but the combat... I just don't really understand where I'm going wrong with it when I'm doing everything it expects of me. Or it could be that I'm getting massively overwhelmed as I went for what I assume to be the higher level of the two places you first get to choose from.

I'm still loving it, though.

The D place is much much harder

I'll struggle through it until I feel the need to back out. I think I almost had a feel for the enemies I encountered there, so hopefully I can get to the next rest area without much problem next time I'm on.

I'll keep that in mind for when I tactically go back to battle.

I might drop from hard
It’s not too bad but the occasional spikes are annoying

I didn't think the full game was actually on EA Access on console.

It isn't, you normally get a 10 hour trial with EA games, but Fallen Order doesn't have that either.

The loading in this is very long. I die. Loading. Die. Loading.

Even Uncharted doesn’t take this long(!)

Just got that. Useful when you get crowded.

Also I got a couple of surprise ambushes from bounty hunters.

I'm glad I kept up the assault on Dathomir before even going to the other planet, as that double-bladed lightsaber is an absolute wrecking ball. And the amount of time I spent getting it meant I had all current skills bought with enough saved up for when more unlocked to by about half of them straight off.

It's massively fun to explore and fight, and the character interactions are great. And now I'm making progress again, I'm getting sucked into the story and the lore it offers.

The maps are huge in this. I've nearly got all upgrades. Force pushing 3 storm troopers off a cliff at once is amazing.

Wish my image sig would work

Really enjoying this, glad I got Origin Premier for the month as I'll easily have got my money's worth. It's an absolute blast to play and although I'm finding the combat challenging it's rarely been frustrating. The presentation and the story so far are spot on and I've loved the big set-pieces I've seen so far - particularly the opening on Kashykk - real Shadow of the Colossus vibes climbing the AT-AT. Can't wait to see where the rest of the game takes me!

Finished the story.

If you think Darth Vader is scary in Rogue One, then you will be shitting yourself more.

Just started this.

Is it known for having a slow start? Finished the initial escape sequence and the first real planet is... Really boring?

Bogoga(?) is slow after you get taught to parry dodge and dual yeah

It does take a long time for your power to build though. You are not an all powerful Jedi from the off ala force unleashed. You’re basically a poorly trained nobody that hasn’t used the force in years

That's the game's trophies all done.

What a fantastic game this is. A solid 8/10 for me.

Oh wow, I am not enjoying this at all.

Half of it feels like a cut price Dark Souls, the other like 2014's Tomb Raider reboot. Whereas Titanfall 2 felt glorious to control this feels muddy and fiddly. The platforming is terrible, the level design confusing and the combat...there. I'll give it another try tomorrow but so far this is a huge disappointment for me.

EDIT: It feels so...flimsy. I'll try and get some footage later but there's so much clipping that the whole thing feels incredibly unfinished. When Cal inspects his Lightsabre after customisation the blade cuts right through the ship's hull FFS! And the collision detection between the models and the terrain is all over the place: Cal is constantly buzzing and stuttering and the amount of those weird rat things that have straight up flown vertically into the air to attack from above is insane.

How are you finding the plot, dialogue and story telling?
