It'll be like playing Energy Ball Tennis with Phantom Ganon.

No complaints if that turns out to be true, launching balls/bolts or force lightning back at each other.

It'd be fun, but probably wouldn't feel very Star Wars, but the idea of bolts or balls of Force Lightning is interesting, and not something we've seen before. Presumably it would be entirely possible.

A skilled Force user could do as Mace Windu did, channeling the Force Lightning into the lightsaber blade. That would, presumably, be a defensive parry move, and unfortunately well suited to QTE-ing. It could be incorporated into a back-and-forth tennis match too, where each successful parry drains a bit of the lightning.

Yoda in Attack of The Clones absorbed Dooku’s lightning in his palms, same in Revenge of The Sith where he absorbs/expels it fighting Palpatine. So they could use some element of this if they wished.

Easily one of the best add-on levels I've ever played. Just increasingly difficult waves of guys with Prodigy "Smack my bitch up" playing in the background.

I'll give this new game the benefit of the doubt for now. The devs say it's going to be a single-player game and that's what they're focused on. We'll see. For now, looking promising and I'm hoping for the best.

I expect macrotransactions and "supply drops", "bonus cases" or other terminology so they weren't technically wrong when they said no "loot boxes". It's a telling indictment that we are at the point where they have to come out and say they won't be doing something.

Perhaps, behind the scenes, Disney forced them to leave them out.

I certainly wouldn't be entirely surprised if that were the case.

With the new Star Wars areas opening at Disney this year they probably want to avoid any negative publicity associated with the brand.

Well, I'd have watched Mixer had I known the thing was on Mixer.

I like what I saw of the reveal and remain cautiously optimistic, but good grief could Respawn have gone for a more generic looking lead character?

I like how the antagonist is just a cross between Darth Vader and Kylo Ren, it's like their love child.

That's the armour of the Inquisitorius - a sect of dark Force users. They all wear helmets like that.

This is the only game I'm interested in for EA's showcase later. Just as well it's going to be shown first, saves having to hang about through Apex Legends, FIFA, Madden, Sims etc.

I'm eagerly awaiting the stream, but I wish it could be an hour later so I can transition straight into the Nintendo Championships. Might as well see what the other two featured games are showing off while I wait.

For Fallen Order, I'm expecting we'll see at least one full level shown off, even if we don't get to see all the cutscenes that might play during it. That should be able to cover traversal of levels, combat across groups of enemies and mini-bosses [I don't think we'll see a true boss yet], and mechanics that help you achieve all that.
