Fed up being a Jedi since nothing has nailed that like the Jedi Knight games, but in this era of strawberry float all single player Star Wars I'll take what I can get.

If they announced this had Kyle Katarn in it I think I'd probably be more hyped for the game than Episode IX

Kyle Katarn could be resurrected to the new canon, like Thrawn, but right now we have little reason to believe he has.

He's in the newly backwards compatible Jedi Academy though. This may just be another entry in the saga :shifty:

I believe this is set in the time between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, don't think it really fits with Kyle Katarn's storyline. I guess if they did resurrect him and kept his original story he could be around but I think that'd make him very young.

I just hope EA haven't microtransactioned it to hell

I'd prefer somewhere between ROTJ and TFA, I was expecting a load of spin-off media that focuses on this time period when the new movie trilogy was announced, it never materialises though.

Though it speaks volumes that they feel the need to promote these as good points. Maybe they're learning?

Been thinking about this, and I think playing as Katarn again is out of the picture - as it's presumably set after Order 66?

I kind of hope that we can create our own character instead of slotting into a pre-fab character we don't know. Like in TFU with Galen Marek / Starkiller for example.
Mass Effect style would be great - create your own look, backstory, Jedi style etc... that would be fantastic.
