Vadar is great in this. Completely shows up that you're a barely trained nobody :slol:

yes it's clever like that. You think you're so powerful at that point, then he shows up and it's terrifying. Ruuunnnnn

I've only got a few echoes scattered around left to find to get the platinum, and I'd usually hunt for them myself, but as I've got 100% exploration on all planets, there's absolutely no way I can know where to start looking on a huge planet, so I decided to mop the last few up with a guide. Using a map, I STILL can't find some of them, and to get to the area where they are (this is on dothamir) i have to go such a long and tedious route. The shortcuts I've opened up are next to useless, it's so strawberry floating annoying having to trapes to the very depths of the map, then have to find your way all the way out again, yet near the top there's ropes etc letting you bypass about 30 seconds of traversal.

Is there any indication of dlc coming? I love the game, but once I 100% this I can't see me playing it again.

Nothing story-related, as I'm sure they're already working on a second game.

Cheers. Got the platinum this morning so I'll probably trade it in tomorrow while it's worth something.

Considering getting this for the PS4 at some point but it's really holding its price. Got to watch the pennies more these days

Been having a right shitty time with this game, not because of the game, but because of how saving works:

I started two save files for this game, one on Jedi Master difficulty for myself (00), one on Story Mode for my girlfriend (01).

After finding it way too hard, I deleted the Jedi Master save file and backup (00) via the PS4 storage settings menu (because for some reason there's no in-game means of doing so), and began a new save for myself on Knight difficulty. Much more fun, get 3 hours in, get back to Zamboni, all is good.

Then I find that the initial second save, Story Mode, has straight up disappeared. My Knight save is the only one. So I started another new save yesterday evening and played for 2 straight hours to get back to where my girlfriend was at, so she won't notice this weekend when we play again.

Quit to main menu, check saves.

Now my Knight save is gone.

My online backup only includes my Knight save (01 - 1/15) and Master save (00 - 12/29), with the system storage having named the new Story Mode save 01 (dated 1/16) as well, meaning that I will have to overwrite my girlfriend's save if I want to play mine. And there's no guarantee it won't keep overwriting those saves if I create new games.

I don't know what's going on, I just wanted to delete a save I had no intention of continuing with (and didn't want cluttering up the save screen) so I could begin anew.

I uploaded the save data (and attendant backup) to an external HDD via USB, and renamed it on my laptop, but upon inspecting it on my PS4 after having renamed it, it still wanted to call it 01 from 1/16, instead of 02.

After a quick Google, it seems you're not supposed to rename backed-up save files via your computer, because it renders them unusable. Great. :? Deleted that and re-backed up the new save.

Getting pretty sick of repeating the first 2-3 hours of this game now.

This morning, I uninstalled and reinstall the game, deleting all the save data on the system itself.

I presume that, should I now begin a new Knight save, it'll default to bring Save 00, and then I can download the Story Mode save 01 and it'll be okay.

Just turned this on to find a new (small) update patch.

It unlocks all the pre-order bonus items, regardless if you pre-ordered or not.
Orange lightsaber yeah :toot: :datass:

I get a bit sad killing all the indigenous life on the planet's. I'd happily just walk passed them but they all attack so you've no choice but to kill them. It would be a nice choice to tickle under their chin or behind theirs ears though.

It's a great moment if you've not had it spoiled.

Still loving this

But I am awful at it.
I very, very rarely get a Parry, my dodging sucks and I always forget to link, combo or use special moves.
I get all panicky and flustered when set upon by a group of enemies. Just keep bashing Square over and over  :fp:
On Dathomir, I kept getting strawberry floated up by gangs of three Nightbrothers etc - Can't seem to break their block! There's probably some massive visual cue that I keep missing for whatever reason.

After Dathomir, I've done The Escape from the Clone ship (that was strawberry floating cool!) and just completed Ilum (again, really cool, being without a lightsaber and just exploring) - Picked a Yellow Crystal 8-)

Don't want this to end too soon, I just love climbing and exploring and lightsabering - is there a very definitive "THIS IS THE END OF THE GAME - YOU CAN'T GO BACK AFTER THIS POINT" moment?

Yes, you are very close to the end unfortunately. You can carry on to find stuff after it ends.

I've made it to Kashyyyk, following a limited exploration of Dathomir - some quality lightsaber components there, I tell thee. Unsure of what material to use with my lightsaber now - copper suits the Dathomiri components, but I like Durite and Mygeeto, too. Bee-D1 is my go-to BD-1 skin. Loving the cloth Zeffo ponchos, not so much the rain jacket looking ones.

Went back to Bogano before Dath, got a number of nice things there, too (I can't swim yet, apparently?) and explored Zeffo as much as possible.

Having a wonderful time. Taken a couple of neat screenshots.

Assuming you mean what I think you mean. You can actually find that in 2 or 3 places.
They really don't want you to miss it

The Magus components. There's like 3 of them in the opening area.

Think I've still to get
double jump,the ability to swim
Do I get any other cool abilities and where do I get them?

After watching Cameron on Gotham,he could easily have put a bit more effort into his star wars character.

I wouldn't have minded some npc good characters with zany personalities though. A missed opportunity.

I don’t think you get the ability to swim. The only way is one planet that’s swimmable, and it’s not unlocked by any ability learning.

The other one is in Dathmoir I think, by carrying on the story mission.

I unlocked the underwater swimming on Kashyyyk?

When you find Tarfful and get given the rebreather.

Opens up going back on yourself again, for all the underwater chests on the other planets etc.
