I get why the main plot of the game kept making you go back and forth between the first couple of planets now: Dathomir strawberry floating sucks. Dull environment, really annoying enemies, and I've hit a brick wall in motivation to continue. Game has been great up to this point.

I'd love to give this a go for a tenner but I might be waiting a while at this rate.

Think I'd have to start this again as I'd played a fair old chunk of it when it first came out but I stopped playing it for some reason(think I got lost). If I was to continue, I would have no idea about the buttons or where I am and what I've to do.
I'd also take a different route to get the double sided lightsabre(WOULD SOMEONE KINDLY PUT IN SPOILERS HOW TO GET IT EARLY IN THE GAME).

Endure the gauntlet of enemies on Dathomir until you get to the point you need the double jump, then the lower path to circle back to the meditation point holds the dualsaber at a workshop that's just inside. But be prepared for it to take time based on your skill.

Thank you, that's such a kind gesture. I'm still juggling a few games at once at the minute so when I'm ready to play this, I might take you up on that offer. Too kind

I keep meaning to get this, like Zilnad I was waiting for it to go cheap but £27 is the lowest I can find at the moment for it, might just wait on for the next gen consoles to see if it might drop a bit more in price. Only feel more interested in this after watching series 1 of Rebels where the inquisitors play quite a decent role.

That’s the thing about this game I found, the worlds looked nice at first but I found them ultimately boring eventually, Dathomir took the biscuit

How was this on PS4 Pro? I know the game had issues at launch on console, we’re these resolved on the Pro? Have they mentioned doing a patch for PS5 at all?

Started this tonight, pretty good, that opening section felt very Uncharted-like.

Bloody loving this :toot:

Just been on Kashyyyk for the second time, got my double bladed lightsaber and double jump, not particularly fussed about getting 100% as while the story and environments are fun to explore the immense lure of more ponchos/lightsaber stuff/outfits and the like aren’t drawing me back, might look up where the stim things are. Now going to Dathomir for the first time.

I’ve absolutely loved the two fights against the second and ninth sisters so far, real sense of achievement when you’ve finally bested them!

They’ve confirmed a sequel haven’t they? Can’t wait for that if its more of the same!

I'm at pretty much the same point as you. I did not quite understand the double saber benefit, was it that it
deflects laser blasts back at the enemy by just holding the block button, rather than timing it?
And was a downside to it (the double saber) highlighted? It just mentioned "crowd control". Does that mean its weaker one on one?

But yeah, great game, and great (albeit occaisonaly frustrating) fights.

I’m not sure of the downsides, just think double bladed lightsabers are neat  They do deflect automatically to a degree, think it said if you’d timed the first one to go back to the shooter then the next ones would? It’s definitely better for crowd control, sadly the ‘Y’ attacks use force power :(

Yeah, the double-bladed lightsaber is great for crowds but supposedly not great one-on-one. Not that I felt much difference since I used it for the whole game no matter the opponent.

It has its own Y attack? I need to investigate this later. I assume it did the same overhead chop force attack as the std saber. I have pretty much just unlocked it (and done the rather tough boss fight after that).

Yeah you basically just spin it round a bit? The boss fight after was tough, thought it was great when you finally beat it though, really satisfying.
