Gorgara can do one, easily the worst boss so far.

Edit, taking a break from it, it’s doing my head in

Dropped the difficulty to Jedi Knight for the above boss fight and now up to another boss on Dathomir (chap with 2 lightsabers) and strongly tempted to do the same again, my patience isn’t what it used to be

Goddamn Malicos. Hardest fight in the game. Rather than try to power through, I'd suggest hunting for more stims until you have around five. That way you can at least stay in the fight longer.

Yikes, i only have 3

I too dropped it to Jedi Knight last night as well. I'm pretty much mirroring your experience at this point - trying to rush it a bit and getting punished. Commendable on the game design side, but not what i need / crave at the moment. Will probably keep it at Jedi Knight and see how much of a challenge it presents.

I’ve not gone back to previous planets looking for them, imagine you’re the same? For what it’s worth when I dropped it I only needed a couple so you should be fine. As I said I’m really enjoying it but barring stims none of the collectibles seem worth it to go back for, no idea how many stims you can have in total. I’ve been flicking it between Master and Knight since the first boss I properly struggled with (first one on Dathomir), one good thing about playing on Jedi Knight is stormtroopers go down like you imagine :datass:

:dread:

Yeah, i have not gone back to any planets. so far it seems like you seem to go back to them in the natural course of events anyway. I'm guessing i will hit that boss tonight. I got horribly lost for about 45 minutes last night and could not find the way i had to godespite looking at the map for aaaages. In the end i realised what i was doing wrong and so all is well again.

 just read the bolded back to myself!

Yeah I’ve got slightly lost a couple of times, for the most part it’s been quite good in this respect though.

One thing I'd recommend on the skill tree (if you haven't already) is to get the Power of Friendship perk. That way, if you're down on health and Force, using a stim will refill that Force meter completely. He is powerful, that boss, so Force-ful 'saber attacks are key.

I kind of wish i could respec. I put a point in to the dodge and kick perk (?!?) on the basis of something like that is usually really usefull. I dont think i have seen the animation once :fp:

The dodge + kick isn’t that easy to pull off.

I think I’ve only successfully pulled it off at end of the game is when I’m trying to get the kick related trophy.

There are 8 stims to find in the game.

8? Oh dear. I really thought i was being thorough. As mentioned previously, i have not really gone back to planets that were not on the critical path. Maybe thats some of the reason.

I have collected 6 of the things that extended your health meter (3 for each bost) and bought up all the perks that boost health and stim pack efficiency (save for the one mentioned above which also boosts force. Think that required 3 skill points, so maybe this evening).

To be fair some of them are well hidden. Sometimes you’ll need to come back when you’ve learned most of your Jedi powers like double jump, pull or push or a non Jedi power like be able to zip line.

I think the map will tell you if an area is fully explored by a change in colour, not sure. It’s been a year since I completed it.

Very nearly done with this after spending a good chunk of today playing it.

Edit, last boss is pretty though :dread: taking a break from it, really don’t want to have to lower the difficulty for the last boss.

I’m enjoying the scrub lifestyle that is playing on Jedi Knight difficulty (I think that’s what it’s called, the one below Jedi master).
I feel I am at a point where I don’t want any more road blocks. Great game, but there are a million others I also want to play too!
That being said, I’m still getting stuck (and then getting a significant sense of accomplishment) from the puzzle rooms.

Finished this off just now, didn’t have to lower it any further than Jedi Knight for the final boss either :) Master was proving really annoying at parts and as I said, I just didn’t have the patience for it

Really good on the whole though, looked superb on my Series X, even on a 1080p TV. Story was actually really good (I wasn’t expecting much to be honest, before it came out I thought it looked alright but nothing particularly special), characters were good for the most part, as was the voice acting.

That ending scene though :datass:

Edit, new game+ seems a bit pointless though? Was expecting it’d let you have all of your abilities after the opening section but its just the cosmetics?

Yeah, it's just the cosmetics, which is pretty pointless. Let's you wield a red lightsaber, though. A red dualsaber. *Duel of the Fates intensifies*

That could be neat

I’d have probably given it a go on New Game+ if it was cosmetics and abilities/skills from after the intro but I just don’t see the point.

The chills I get from the end. I was grinning like a maniac.

Easily the best Star Wars game since... I dunno. N64’s Pod Racing game?
