They're long - like an hour each, and can be gross/wrong/stupid in places, but generally he lampoons them perfectly.

Does anyone else find that guys voice really annoying. He labours the point somewhat, too.

I read somewhere that they're going to release some books with "evocative images" taken from stills from the movies, including the prequels. They're going to sell them for 2 or 3 thousand dollars each.

I did find it funny, though, having read that just after watching those Red Letter reviews.

Just watched the reviews for eps 1 and 2 by Red Letter. Hilarious stuff and let me remember a lot of the crap I had forgotten about. Actually some very interesting stuff he's noticed that there's noway I would have. It really is sad what they did to this franchise. Some of the stuff doesn't make any sense whatsoever . Defo going to get the BR for the OT, but strawberry float eps 1 - 3.

I haven't watched those reviews yet, but does the guy question why the strawberry float the architect that designed the particular building the Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon and Maul fight takes place in decided to add inexplicably placed force fields that activate at the most inopportune times?

I can't remember, but he does point out a lot of flaws from that scene. He also brings it up in episode III review.

Also talks about speedy Jedis, something I remember saying to my bro on first watch. Kind of embarrassed that's just one of the things I noticed.

Footage of Lucas saying "Jar Jar is by far the funniest character we've ever had" made me vomit a little. Han Solo was clearly the funniest

R2-D2 was always the funniest to me.

Those reviews make me appreciate the original trilogy even more.

It's so weird seeing how they made the prequels. So many blue screens. How is that a film? Everything about the prequels is bad. They are perhaps "watchable" if you see them as some random sci fi flick, but all in all they are gooseberry fool. The music being an exception.

He sums it up pretty well when he says "in the original I cared about the people, I don't care about anyone in these". Pretty much how I felt after I'd seen them. I don't think I've even got through Clone Wars all the way through before.

I'd say the best stuff was his moments talking about Qui Gon Jin. strawberry floating hilarious.

Except it was supposed to be a little bit emotional once Darth Maul had murdered Obi-Wan's master, and yet the tone of the fight remained at a monotonous level all the way through.
