A shitload are greyed out/locked, but the english ones that are up are:

"The Progenitor" (RP)
"Tomb of Freedon Nad" (PVP)
"Nightmare Lands" (PVE)
"The Red Eclipse" (PVE)

All the rest are in foreign-speak or unavailable.

Oh, i see, the locked ones are unavailable unless you have characters on there already.

Cool, i'll get on with some character creation tomorrow - may as well get as many as possible before the F2P nerfbat hits - assuming you'll be able to keep the ones you've already made.

Also; we need to continue playing. I've been sat in the cantina on Coruscant for ages. Asshat

What side is everyone on, or is it a bit of both?

Me and Fin have a light/dark bromance going on the goodie side, but I prefer the baddie side.

I have both on that server.

Cool - I've heard that the Imperial Agent has the best story, so will go for one of them and possibly a smuggler/trooper. I'm working out who i'm going to play through D&D-style alignments, for example my bounty hunter will be Chaotic Neutral, whereas my Sith Inquisitor is going to be the definition of Lawful Evil.

I really enjoyed the Imperial Agent storyline, I have to admit. It's like you're the Imperial James Bond.

Created 6 characters last night - all except the jedi consular and sith warrior. I can see why this is bombing though, apart from the cool story sections, you do the same old kill X baddies/click on X things quests, plus the areas are entirely static - the evil aliens attacking the jedi training planet will continue to run into the guards until the end of time, even though I've stopped them in the story.

I don't think I'm going to stick with force-based characters very much, as it seems you have to go full good guy or full bad guy or else you get gimped later on. The Agent, trooper, bounty hunter and smuggler seem to have much more interesting setups.

This must be getting less action than a Nuns noonoo. Why don't they just ftp it now before everyone loses interest?

...from a couple of years ago. While the story is very player-centric, the actual gameplay really isn't. Also I find it somewhat weird that as a good jedi character i'm asked to go out and slaughter a set number of creatures, who for the most part are simply loitering rather than showing any signs of aggression. I can't bring myself to have more than 1 force-using character per side, but am looking forward to being an utter dick to everyone as a sith inquisitor. I hope that when this is converted to proper f2p you can keep all the characters you've made rather having the shutters brought down on any that don't fit into the free bracket.

Saying that, I'm probably going to play it like a single-player RPG with multiple characters, so I don't know why I'm bothering to write lots about it :slol:

Its best with at least two players really.

Me and Fin have played the first sector of the Jedi storylines. He is a goody sword man and Im an asshole magic man. When you have dialogues you each roll for the chance to pick your chosen dialogue option. Its funny as strawberry float to have the good guy win all the rolls in a conversation, only to have the asshole win in the end and eject everybody out of an airlock.

The joy is that if the good guy chose the good option and lost, he isnt punished for me being a dick, likewise, if I pick the bad option and lose, Im still noted as trying to be a total wanker.

My sith character has been played through on single player though and she is a total cuntlord, Im about a 1/5th of the way in and my body count must be in the millions by now. My bounty hunter is driven purely by cash money and my jedi lame ass is just a self serving egotist.
