I think that would actually explain the necessity for ladders.

Speaking of Tom Cruise I stumbled across an old AV Club article the other day which documented Cruise's weird homophobia on the set of Risky Business.

He was tense and made constant, constant unrelated homophobic comments, like, “You want some ice cream, in case there are no gay people there?” I mean, his lingo was larded with the most… There was no basis for it. It was like, “It’s a nice day, I’m glad there are no gay people standing here.” Very, very strange.

I think that’s known as reaction formation.

I've absolutely no desire to have mega-celebs invade games. Keanu was extremely distracting in Cyberpunk, Cruise plays like, one role in everything he does and has zero range...being a voice actor is skill, and not one you can just swap out with a dude with a big name.

To be fair to Cruise (feel pretty filthy saying that :dread:

) he did have some range early in his career, but for the last 20 years he has basically been Tom Cruise Action Man in everything.

I’d be perfectly happy if as far as big hitting first party games go, we get Halo and Forza Motorsport. Not sure if Forza is unlikely for 2021 considering we’ve only got the announcement trailer for it so far though.
