Quoting for new page.

Will add it to list for when it's even cheaper.

Although the game is being expanded with missions, ships, weapons and pilots arriving in future update(s), Ubisoft has said that no further physical toys will be made. New additions will only appear in digital format.

Ubisoft wrote:With the announcement of new content arriving this April, we felt that it is important to provide an update on the topic of physical toys. Starlink: Battle for Atlas has been a passion project for us from the start, and we are incredibly proud of the modular Starship technology we have developed, and how well players have responded to it.

Despite the immense and continuous support from our players, the sales for Starlink: Battle for Atlas fell below expectations. Consequently, we recently made the decision to not release any additional physical toys for the Spring update and in the future.

As part of our effort to do right by our passionate and dedicated community we are currently hard at work on our biggest update to the game so far and are pleased to tell all of you that there will be new digital ships, pilots and weapons to collect.

Additionally, there will be a ton of free content to expand your games such as additional missions, challenges and new activities to engage in throughout Atlas, including content that was inspired by community suggestions, such as Outlaw Racing.

We're very grateful for the support we have received from players around the world and can't wait for everyone to get their hands on our next big update launching this April.

We'll see you in the stars,
Starlink Development Team

In my view the game is great but it did always feel as if the physical toys - whilst fun to use - were too expensive. Ah well... it's cool that we'll get some new stuff digitally, anyway.

Shame it didn't meet expectations but it doesn't surprise me as the whole ability to buy the toys physically and digitally did confuse a lot of people.
Looking forward to the new Star Fox stuff coming later this month.

Can you imagine a future sequel that had the Starlink crew go to Lylat, allowing us to explore the worlds of the Star Fox games in a completely new way? It'd have to be a Switch exclusive, but considering the Switch version of Starlink did super sales over the other two versions, I'd say it's worth it.

In. Now, go phone Yves Guillemot and tell him to pull his finger out.

I'll use my generous influence within Ubisoft to suggest that they get on with it right away.

Does... um... anyone have any generous influence I can use?

The game is really well made and is fun to play. It does get repetitive but I finished it completely and that took 30+ hours so it definitely did more right than it did wrong.

Also the use of music during battles was brilliant.

The power to make them see that it is a brilliant idea and have them all agreeing to anything I'd say.

Honestly, I'd get the switch version only, you get the to play as Fox and you get extra missions for hunting down Wolf and there the DLC coming where you can play as the rest of the Star Fox team and have to sort out all of Star Wolf. Just seems a way better deal to me.

Ah, I'm sure they've had the idea at some point, and the success of the partnership would hopefully say to both of them that it might be worth pursuing. I'm sure Nintendo would be up for it.

The new free expansion, Crimson Moon, is coming to all platforms on 30 April.

Eurogamer wrote:...Crimson Moon, described as the "theatre of the Outlaw Games". Here, players can indulge in newly introduced vehicle racing, featuring both single-player and two-player split-screen tracks, plus wave-based battling in the Crimson Coliseum. Leaderboards will be included too, alongside custom paint jobs.

Additionally, there will be some paid DLC available - "five new pilots, three new starships, and 11 new weapons". There will also be some paid DLC based on Star Fox exclusively for Switch players - "Building on the Star Fox content included in the base game, Ubisoft has created a series of new missions, in which Fox, Peppy, Slippy, and Falco - all now playable individually - attempt to track down the nefarious Star Wolf team. Although there's no official UK price just yet, it'll cost $11.99 USD (around £9)."

All sounds pretty neat!

I've fully finished this but will re download to try the DLC. Nice that they are still supporting it.

Much like Mad Max this is one of those games that people will remember very fondly in the future but never did the numbers it deserved. Definitely the best space game I've played for a long time.

I've actually got the Switch version sitting in my backlog, sounds like next month will be a good time to jump in.
