Had a great time today. Not had anyone die yet but had a few close calls. Building up my place nicely and saving up influence for a nearby power outpost.

Other than a few problem doors not had any bugs and that seems to be fixed with the latest patch.

Mine's fine in the sense it hasn't stopped me from actually starting the game or losing my save file on either Xbox or PC (Been on PC today)

Also that bug of the white line appearing during the night that was supposed to fixed with that massive patch, yeah that hasn't been fixed. Not constantly there like it was but still crops up. Also another bug that keeps happening, horde attacking your base quest that appears and you have 10 minutes to get there that one, well everytime I rush back to base it fails. I have near 8 minutes left, get within 200m of my base then it fails. Happens all the time.

PC. Ultra/1080p

Xbox One X/4K

Taken on PC, quit and loaded up on Xbox and taken in (Almost) the same spot so would have been the same time of day too.

Driving along to do some other groups work when I notice this poor bastard, managed hit that screenshot button before I made him an ornament on the car bonnet :slol:

That mission bugged on me, the location of the infestation was another groups base and the goal was to clear them out without killing a zombie, didn't work when the other group guns them down when I approach :fp:

Then a quest after that involved me looking for a bag of materials for some dude, find a bag and give it to him but hit with another bug of him not leaving me the strawberry float alone and his quest didn't complete so he just follows me everywhere with option to dismiss him or kill the little gooseberry fool :fp:

So just tried my first go joining someone..

Yeah they sure as gooseberry fool fixed those MP bugs :slol:

Or they added graboids to the mix :toot:

Ended up destroying his last 5 plague hearts for him using a .50cal monster rifle (3 shots per heart :slol:

)

How's this for playing on one's own? I'm tempted to pick it up given that it's relatively cheap, but not too fussed about playing with other gamers.

Just bought SoD 2 via Amazon. £22.94. Delivery tomorrow. Got Thursday and Friday off so good opportunity to get stuck in.

Given all the negative press this has received (rightly or wrongly) I'm rather excited by the prospect of getting stuck into a bit of zombie survival.

Enjoying this game immensely.

Started my third playthrough now although my first playthrough has a bug when the end game cut scene doesn’t trigger after completing the last Builders mission

It’s fair to say the game is a little too easy once you’ve earned the .50 cal weapons or grenade launchers though.

Really hoping they continue to support the game with additional content (customisable character, more missions, more maps, more zombie types, more challenges, proper zombie hordes, weather effects)

Genuinely my personal favourite game this year so far based on the number of hours I’ve sunk into it.

Surprisingly the same for me, I've really enjoyed the hours ive sunk in (over 2 days worth of hours now so well over 50 I think) I'm just going through my 2nd playthrough as a Warlord which has been fun and not many achievements to go to 1000 for me, something that's a rarity with Xbox achievements as I generally don't care about 100% with them.

Yeah, I know that now. :lol:

One question, is it me or do the nights last longer than the days? Given the game seems to be set in the summer time you would've thought it'd be the other way around?

It does seem like the night lasts longer than the days. But according to a post on Reddit -

Day is longer than night as the devs have said, like 22 mins vs 18 mins but there is also dawn and dusk transitions that are equal durations.
