Steam Problem

Is there any way to sign into Steam when you're not connected to the internet? It won't start in offline mode when i'm not connected to the internet, looking on Google it seems to be a common problem. If not is there a way to bypass Steam to play a game that uses it, in this case Football Manager 09?

You need to be online and launch every game once, then they should all play in offline mode.

Ya see i've only got the 1 game on Steam so i'm not sure why it doesn't work. I'll try PacSteam, thanks man.

Do not install PacSteam, even just having it installed is liable to get your proper Steam account banned (unless you literally never connect to the internet ever in which case they can't do anything).

Ok, well i haven't installed it yet. Is there anything i can do to play this game while offline that you know of? When i googled the problem people were saying (like Gecko) that as long as i signed in every so often there should be no problem but this doesn't seem to work.

Have you made sure that steam is set to remember your password, offline mode won't work otherwise.
