Streaming from PS3

As part of my ongoing project to beat the Final Fantasy series on steam I'll eventually have to play the XIII games. Ideally I'd like to play them on my PS3 so was looking for some advice on doing this.

I accept that at the very least I'll likely need to invest a bit of cash into a better computer but I want to know what sort of setup I'll need and how much I can expect to spend.

Hope somebody can help, cheers.

You'll need a PC/laPTOP capable of streaming and a special HDMI to bypass the HDCP (or whatever the strawberry float it's called) and a capture card.

Traditionally I'm a bit of a tight arse. Will I get away with lower end tech or would it be false economy?

I'm not really sure, there are likely some decent guides. If you want to stram and play from PC it's going to cost a fair bit more. I did read before about 2 PC streaming and basically you make a PC with a decent amount of ram and amazing COPU and then the rest of it can be a bit crap. Maybe you want to look into that if you only want to stream and not play games on it.
