I'll pick it up over the weekend, for sure.

Dunno when I'll get around to this but it looks really fun. More SoR4 is always a plus.

Got the DLC.

Will start into Mr X Nightmare at the weekend, but I had few goes on Mania+ ....

Hahahahahaha! Nooo, siree!

I made it half way through stage 1; that mode I'll leave untouched thank you very much!

So I bought the DLC earlier, yet when I put the disc in and select the Mr. X Nightmare option, the game prompts me to "GET IT NOW!". When I do that, I get a PlayStation Store error of "This content cannot be selected at this time."

Any ideas? I've definitely purchased it, it shows as much when I go to the DLC on the store.

Okay so apparently as I own the LRG disc edition I need to get the DLC from the US store for it to work. Well, that sucks. So I need to get a refund

That sucks - region locked DLC is dumb! It's also a shame LRG didn't hold off to do a complete physical version including the DLC too.

I'm hoping my friend who I played this with originally buys the DLC and I can play it that way, I still don't own the game myself!

So after sorting all that kerfuffle last night, I can report that Survival mode is a lot of fun, Shiva and Estel are early favourites (haven't tried Max yet) and if you like SoR4 then this DLC is absolutely essential, especially for the low asking price. Along with the new features, it reinvigorates playing through with the old characters too with unlockable new moves for everyone and even tiny cosmetic changes like multiple palette swaps for each character freshens things up nicely.

Also, without wanting to spoil anything...let's just say there are more features to the DLC than have been advertised in all the marketing

Bought it last night, the PS+ price was a bargain. Haven't played it yet though.

Had a quick go and got to level 15 in survival. Estelle seems like a good, no nonsense character. She has a couple of diving attacks with good range that set her apart from the others. Definitely looking forward to mastering her nuances

No, not yet. It was having an issue with the DLC so they have delayed it a bit later. Hopefully next week as they said.

Secret character:

To unlock Roo, all you need to do is fire up the game, and as long as you have the Streets of Rage 4 Mr. X Nightmare, you need to press the attack button + up + start. There's no indication that this worked, so you'll have to do the action and then start a game.

I bought it the DLC last night. I'm slightly disappointed that there are no new levels but the survival mode is super fun.

The issue with the Switch DLC is weird as the game has been patched but it looks like Nintendo have not put the DLC up on the store and the in game link returns an error. A bit of a shame seeing as it's been highly trailed

Max seems to be the worst of the new characters as it takes too long to first hit. Really enjoying this.

Sheva main here, I love his ninja dash thing. Looping it in the corner is so fun.

It's a shame the trophies for this game are so mundane and time consuming otherwise I'd probably play the game more to try and get them.

Can't believe they make you beat the game with every individual character
