Streets of Rage 4

DLC?! Yes, please. GOTY

Just bought this in the recent multiplayer sale for the Switch; looking forward to getting it started.

It's a brilliant game, I'm well up for some DLC! :toot:

Just recently picked this up and it's an awesome game, certainly very interested in some DLC.

Nice.

It will be interesting to see how SoR4 Max shapes up. I think he's still the speedrunners character of choice for SoR2 because of how effective he can be in that game

I got the platinum last week so now I'm so ready for this DLC. I can't wait.

I think there are a few achievements I still need to get on the base game. I might have to go back to it and crack a few more skulls before the DLC drops! :nod:

Looking forward to the dlc. Give me an excuse to dust off the Switch.

I freaking LOVE the Orange Cassidy enemies.

Make them playable next.

How long have you been playing? Have you tried mixing up which character you use? Each have different strengths so it's worth exploring them!

Just got back on it after taking a lengthy break, so that probably has something to do with it. I'm just finding avoiding getting hit hard to do at the moment. But I'm also not utilising the special attack (the one which doesn't drain health) so I could def be playing smarter. Adam is my favourite but am not gelling with him as yet. So I'm flitting between them all hoping something clicks.

Crowd management is a big part of things, knowing how much to commit to attacking one person which might put you at risk from someone else, positioning yourself in the right areas of the screen to minimise risk, using the right combos to maximise how quickly you can take people down etc. It's a simple game on the surface but with a surprising amount of depth when you start to dig into it!

Getting good at using the back attack is important as well, and also getting good at using the stationary special attack which makes you invulnerable temporarily

I'm just working through unlocking the extra characters and getting better ratings. Finished it with Blaze and Adam. It's such a good game; I've played it a helluva lot more than I thought I would. Adam is prob the best, but Blaze is my favourite to use.

strawberry floating hell that is insane! It's fantastic watching just how amazingly some people can master the game.

He makes brilliant use of pretty much every ability Axel has on offer there, some really clever tricks to keep the score combo going and a couple of fantastic saves as well! :toot:

Even knowing that he achieved a 700+ combo, my heart was in my throat throughout that whole video. Unbelievable.
