I've got a complete set like that as well, Frank :-).

I wasn't exactly a kid when I collected them, though :shifty: .

I found them out the other day and was like "man, I bet not many people have a complete set. I wonder if it's worth anything on ebay!"

Logged on and found hundreds of them for about a fiver. fml.

Hated Doritos as a kid, which was annoying as I couldn't get the Taz Tazos :X

I remember as kids, we had these sort of adventure books where you had to use a sort of computerised pen/wand thing to solve puzzles and advance in the story. Pretty sure we bought them from Toys R Us.
I've tried googling for them but I've no idea what they were called. Don't suppose anyone remembers similar?

They kind of were at ours too, they were used more for building stuff as they slotted together well.

Oh gooseberry fool! I had that big one too! I'd completely forgotten how awesome he was. I also had 5 of those smaller ones. And I also had a really big one that was in the shape of the main villain's skull and its eyes would light up. Oh and I had the dragon island thing.

Man, I had a lot of Mighty Max toys.

My brother was obsessed with Mighty Max, every birthday, Christmas and any other time he had a present coming he asked for Mighty Max, wound up with every single one except the blue fish head looking thing in the top right of that pic. They were pretty great toys I have to say.

I think I was about 10 or so short of the full set. I remember getting so many duplicate ROTJ lukes with his green sabre.

I used to like building towers with them.

They used to give away those types of bars on the front cover of the beano, because it was a scottish company they would also quite often give away highland toffee bars.

Another thing the Beano (and other comics) used to do was corporal punishment, they weren't allowed to depict such behaviour after a while, but it was actually pretty funny while it lasted (it always made be chuckle anyhow).

I remember just before Pogs first came out, Beano had a free packet on them front as a free gift. Think I ended up getting 15 copies of that weeks issue :slol:

I got an old Beano album from 1977 for Christmas (re-living a Christmas gift from when I was 6!). The amount of child-beating in it was disturbing!
